Free 180 day trial of Qriocity

Wow, I'm a jerk, just started this thread and left it to rot.

Anyway, the service is more or less what one would expect. They do seem to have a really strong library available, and access is quick. This trial is fairly limited though, while you can search for songs/albums/artists, you can only listen to portions of those songs with this trial plan. It lets you see how things would work for one who has a full subscription, which is very well, though I wouldn't say worth the price. Perhaps if one also uses the Qriocity Android app it would be worth it.

It allows unlimited access to songs that turn up on the "stations", which actually have decent playlists. To be fair, I didn't listen to many, but the reggae station had a nice mix of dancehall & roots. A few tunes I really dig came up, and some I had never heard that I really liked presented themselves, and it's quick to tag something to listen to again later. The punk station was an utter embarrassment, unless it's meant to be a joke, in which case it was brilliant. While I'm not terribly familiar with classical composers and works, I was enjoying what I heard on the half an hour or so I left the classical channel on.

Not that it matters all that much, but the interface is attractive, and easy to navigate with either a DS3 or Blu Ray Remote.

Anyway, it's ok. I probably won't fire it up much more during the trial, but I'm glad I got to peek at it.
