Hot Heart
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJXY-6qvQ2MAnyone planning on getting, or already have, Double Fine's latest?I'm not really a tower defence kinda guy but it looks quite fun, especially if others are going to be playing.Unfortunately, it's been delayed in Europe so I'll certainly have to wait anyways. MetalCaveman
Played a bit of the trial this morning, it's a fun game, will probably buy, not sure when though.
Baconrath
I think I'll get it eventually. If it's anything like Toy Soldiers I will like it and rage at it in the same breath.
Chewblaha
Some fun Tower Defense.
WTF
Hey H_H looks like trenched will be indefinitely delayed for most of the EU. There's a board game that's currently trademarked trenched and so they can't release the game as trenched. I'm guessing we'll see delays and a rename and some other factors before it can actually come out.
Hot Heart
Yeah, I'd heard rumours of that. Nice of MS and Double Fine to be so upfront about it... Looks like it could be a long while if it has to go through certification again too.

Looks like it could be a long while if it has to go through certification again too. I'm kind guessing it won't be released. I mean the Portuguese company that owns the rights to the name have asked people who enquire to visit their site. MS is avoiding an answer and I'm sure DF just won't have the resources to do much really. So it really is in the publishers (MS) hands to see if they deem it worthy a release. I guess the sales in the US will determine that.
Hot Heart
I don't know. Is there precedent for that? I mean, Microsoft aren't exactly a small company and they have been pretty chummy with Double Fine (considering they contributed probably Kinect's best E3 showing). Considering it's an exclusive as well, it would be foolish to let this one slip. The game has been getting pretty good reviews, so presumably selling quite well too (although there's precedent for DF there...) DocSeuss
Trenched/Iron Brigade is awesome. I think it's probably my favorite Double Fine game, actually, because the humor is great and the setting even greater. That said, I cannot beat the second to last level--the one where you have to defend your boss. Any suggestions? Anyone wanna co-op it? Mercurial
Is it worth it just for the singleplayer? There is no way in hell I am paying for live.
Hot Heart
I made a thread for this waaaay back when we were still waiting for it to arrive in Europe. It took so long that I was past caring...and now I'm hoping for a PC version.
DocSeuss
I looked for a thread but I couldn't find one. Sorry 'bout that, Hot Heart. Hakidia, it's a game with a co-op campaign. I can't beat the second to last mission by myself. You could get the demo on Arcade and check it out for yourself.
Baconrath
I've only played the demo for a little bit which is strange because this sort of thing is right up my alley. That said, I've had some bad experience with tower defense games (read: I suck). I still haven't finished the last two levels of Toy Soldiers. Hot Heart
I looked for a thread but I couldn't find one. Sorry 'bout that, Hot Heart. Don't sweat it. Like I said, it was from ages ago and probably buried somewhere.
