Vargras
Saw this topic over on the Escapist forums, and it was fun to see what everyone picked. There's just a few rules to go with this: 1. Any game that has ever existed is up for grabs. No matter how obscure it is, you can pick it for a sequel if you want. 2. You do NOT get to pick the dev team. I'll start off by saying that I'd love a sequel to Battlefield 2142. Near-perfect balancing of the classes, all the weapons and tools had their own unique uses (but weren't completely useless either), and most of all - Titan Mode. I'd love to be able to play Titan Mode again.
Yantelope
Shenmue 3 of course. Barring that Mirror's Edge 2. Oh, and I'd also like to see Quest for Glory revived. Edited August 15, 2011 by Yantelope

P4: Gritty Reboot
Toughie. I would feel a lot of pressure... Jedi Knight III (not Academy), focused around Kyle Katarn... more later.
Mr W Phallus
I'm torn between KOTOR III and a sequel to the 2007 Shadowrun.

Hot Heart
Off the top of my head I am torn between KOTOR III and Psychonauts...but I could probably think of something 'better'. If that makes sense. A new Jade Empire could've been interesting. Or a newer W40K Chaos Gate. AGH!
Harri
Prince of Persia 2008. Loads of untapped potential that could have been fixed.
Thursday Next
Ummmm... Final Fantasy! Oh wait... no... Since Mirror's Edge has already been taken... Heavy Rain, Bulletstorm or maybe ToeJam and Earl, I loved the isometric one.
Yantelope
Oooo, I too would like to see a Jade Empire 2. I'd also like to see a Black 2. That first game was so much fun.
Hot Heart
I think Project Eden was a v cool idea, and an OK game, that a sequel really could've built on.
toxicitizen
I'd love to see a proper System Shock 3. BioShock is nice and all, but it's really oversimplified when you compare it to System Shock 2. System Shock also had strong RPG elements and was thematically closer to horror. Whereas BioShock is mostly an action/shooter and while the original had some creepy moments, it wasn't scary at all. And it seems like Infinite is doing away with the creepy altogether. Mirror's Edge 2 is a given, but was already mentioned.

TCP
Majora's Mask. The game starts with Link searching for Navi. It ends with him saving Termina and leaving his new friends (yeah, spoilers, everything works out... shocking). I know there's games that take place "generations later" but we never found out if Link found Navi. To me, that's always been a little sad But I probably only say this because I'm such a fanboy for the N64 Zeldas.
Hocking
Star Wars: Battlefront 3 Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force 2 (There is an Elite Force 2, sans Voyager, but it was to STV:EF as KotOR:TSL is to KotOR).

They made Battlefront 3 it just got canned. Also, all Star Trek games stink. Must be some sort of curse by George Lucas. I think he allowed Elite Force to be good as an ironic joke since it's Voyage. There was this neat(at the time) strategy Star Trek game on the Genesis. Reminded me of Tactics Ogre.

Think you got your franchises backwards there, Lucas is Star Wars. Gene Roddenberry, Rick Berman and Ron Moore are Star Trek, but had absolutely zero to do with the games. I do love Star Trek games though. I still play STV: Elite Force and Armada 2 these days. I used to play the hell out of Bridge Commander and Away Team too.
