Mister Jack
There's cute and there's canon. For that matter Chie x Yosuke was cute too. Every female character had a side character they could have worked it out with. Except for Rise.
UnstableArk
And by 4 movies what do you mean? You mean there will be 4 films? Cause I highly doubt it's the length of 4 films. 4's just an estimate I read online, but I do know it's going to be multiple films. Likely 2 or 3, seeing as the trailer shows them going through about half the game. It's quite a lengthy story, though not much longer than P4, me thinks. Waldorf and Statler
P4 was able to tell the jist of its story, outside of the P4G true ending, with one 20+ anime. Each movie in Japan tends to be 1:30 or so. Unless they plan to do 4, I can't see them getting as far
UnstableArk
4 films sounds plausible, then. Looking at the trailer again, I think they get about a third of the game through. Then again, the beginning goes by somewhat quickly compared to the second half of the game. Most of it being dragged on, really. Also, I didn't watch the P4 anime. Did they do any filler or abrupt episodes?
Waldorf and Statler
I haven't seen it either, but I'm a strong believer that if one has the chance one should play the games. From what I hear it doesn't compare to the game itself but gives Yuu a personality that evolves throughout the anime [as in very quiet at first but as he gets more comfortable with friends he becomes more open]. So to answer your question, no clue but probably not.
FMW
There's gonna be four full movies. Each one covering the events of one season of the year long endeavor that is Persona 3.
Waldorf and Statler
Ending with a finale where they announce P5 for every console in existence, then fly away as rainbows fart out of their ass and propel them

If you have a vita but not this game, youre a shithead. Greatest rpg ever made, including all the "western" fluff.
Waldorf and Statler
Well. It's definitely one of my top three.

Mister Jack
There's a sequel to Persona 4 Arena that just got leaked on NeoGaf. So far new characters seem to be Yukari and Junpei from Persona 3. They also change up the game system a little bit, presumably for balance purposes. They also added shadow versions of each character that cannot burst out of combos, but they get something called "shadow fury" which gives them free meter. Elizabeth has no shadow. Since graduating from high school, Junpei has become a baseball player and Yukari has become an actress on some show called "Featherman." It has been implied that in the name game, the cast is trying to hunt down Nyarlahotep, the big bad of Persona 2 and the Persona series as a whole. Waldorf and Statler
The first persona arena had an awful main plot and an awful presentation all behind an ok at best game. Gimme p5 yo.
Mister Jack
I won't defend the story but aside from that, what exactly did you not like?
Strangelove
P4A as a fighting game is fantastic in almost every way. It plays great and looks great, the story was just...ugh....unnecessary. Im still waiting on my Vita port...
Mister Jack
I wouldn't mind a PC port myself, but who are we kidding. Every fighting game company except Arc System is coming around to steam.
Waldorf and Statler
The presentation. As in who thought it'd be a good idea to have the text box style narrative as in p4. that works with older games and handhelds but the giant static drawing alongside a textbox in the bottom was eh for a big hdtv. Mister Jack
Eh, Blazblue and Guilty Gear did the same thing but I guess if you're used to Mortal Kombat and Injustice then it would seem a bit lackluster.
Waldorf and Statler
I'm used to games realizing it's not optimal. I don't play many fighters but those I do are better in the presentation. Even MvC was better though the benefit was that had little to no story.
FMW
I... wouldn't hold my breath for an eventual Persona 5 to tell it's story in a way other than a "giant static drawing alongside a textbox in the bottom". It's possible mind, and Catherine showed that the team was looking into more dynamic cinematic scenes... but if the amount of narrative content in P5 is ANYWHERE in the ballpark of other Persona titles then it's inevitable that there's gonna be an awful lot of dialogue box scrolling.
Vecha
Did anyone play Persona 4 on the ps2 AND the vita? I played about 1/10 of my ps2 copy back when(now it'll forever be in backlog). Can I use the strat guide for the ps2 with my vita?
Mister Jack
Most of the new vita content is in the form of completely separate events that take place during school trips and whatnot. However, there are two new social links, one of which is required if you want the golden ending. From what I've heard, the vita version is also rebalanced a bit so that certain bosses are not unfairly difficult. Oh yeah, there are also new social link activities. As far as the RPG side of it goes, though, it's mostly the same.
Mister Jack
Persona 5 has been announced as a PS3 exclusive and is due in japan in Q4 of next year.

Strangelove
Hope it gets ported to PS4 or Vita. Its going to be hard to play a PS3 game in 2015.
toxicitizen
I was wondering about that. They seem to love porting all their games to handhelds but could the Vita actually handle a proper PS3 game? I mean, there's Disgaea 3 (and an upcoming port of 4, I think?) but those are sprite games and 3 wasn't even HD. Besides, if there's any game worth keeping a PS3 around for, it's definitely Persona. I'm actually really glad it's not PS4. Not really planning on getting one for a good while.
