And by 4 movies what do you mean? You mean there will be 4 films? Cause I highly doubt it's the length of 4 films.

4's just an estimate I read online, but I do know it's going to be multiple films. Likely 2 or 3, seeing as the trailer shows them going through about half the game. It's quite a lengthy story, though not much longer than P4, me thinks.

4 films sounds plausible, then. Looking at the trailer again, I think they get about a third of the game through. Then again, the beginning goes by somewhat quickly compared to the second half of the game. Most of it being dragged on, really.

Also, I didn't watch the P4 anime. Did they do any filler or abrupt episodes?

I haven't seen it either, but I'm a strong believer that if one has the chance one should play the games.  From what I hear it doesn't compare to the game itself but gives Yuu a personality that evolves throughout the anime [as in very quiet at first but as he gets more comfortable with friends he becomes more open].

So to answer your question, no clue but probably not.

There's a sequel to Persona 4 Arena that just got leaked on NeoGaf.  So far new characters seem to be Yukari and Junpei from Persona 3.  They also change up the game system a little bit, presumably for balance purposes.   They also added shadow versions of each character that cannot burst out of combos, but they get something called "shadow fury" which gives them free meter.  Elizabeth has no shadow.

Since graduating from high school, Junpei has become a baseball player and Yukari has become an actress on some show called "Featherman." It has been implied that in the name game, the cast is trying to hunt down Nyarlahotep, the big bad of Persona 2 and the Persona series as a whole.

I... wouldn't hold my breath for an eventual Persona 5 to tell it's story in a way other than a "giant static drawing alongside a textbox in the bottom".  It's possible mind, and Catherine showed that the team was looking into more dynamic cinematic scenes... but if the amount of narrative content in P5 is ANYWHERE in the ballpark of other Persona titles then it's inevitable that there's gonna be an awful lot of dialogue box scrolling.

Most of the new vita content is in the form of completely separate events that take place during school trips and whatnot.  However, there are two new social links, one of which is required if you want the golden ending.  From what I've heard, the vita version is also rebalanced a bit so that certain bosses are not unfairly difficult.

Oh yeah, there are also new social link activities.  As far as the RPG side of it goes, though, it's mostly the same.

I was wondering about that. They seem to love porting all their games to handhelds but could the Vita actually handle a proper PS3 game? I mean, there's Disgaea 3 (and an upcoming port of 4, I think?) but those are sprite games and 3 wasn't even HD.

Besides, if there's any game worth keeping a PS3 around for, it's definitely Persona. I'm actually really glad it's not PS4. Not really planning on getting one for a good while.
