fuchikoma
So, I don't know about you guys, but I only know a few people with iOS devices, and only have a few people on my gaming lists... so I figured I'd post my most common games for each service and you you want to, just let me know you're from here and we can friend up! (As long as you have a name at least... I don't want to fill my list with "Player 839071256" and the like in OpenFeint... So this isn't EVERY game, but the main ones I use these for: OpenFeint: Age of Zombies ESPGALUDA II Dodonpachi Resurrection rRootage Online I.S.U.D: It Shoots, You Dodge Arkanoid Space Invaders Infinity Gene Fruit Ninja Rooftop Escape (Mushihimesama) BUG PANIC Tiny Wings Shot Clock Game Center: Danmaku Unlimited Tiny Wings Groove Coaster rRootage Online Rooftop Escape Fruit Ninja Age of Zombies Street Fighter IV Mushihimesama BUG PANIC Infinity Blade Space Invaders Extreme Dodonpachi Resurrection ESPGALUDA II The Heist So, if you're into these games or if I know you on here, let's do this! Or let's see what games you play the most, so you can find people on here!
Faiblesse Des Sens
FYI OpenFeint is cross-platform. A few of those games do indeed have Android versions but I've yet to play them so I can't vouch for how cross-platform OpenFeint works though I have played OF games. I assume Game Center is the built-in iOS friend list?
fuchikoma
Yes, GameCenter is kind of Apple's copy of OpenFeint that they built into iOS. I just figured it'd make sense to have a separate friend list thread for Android, though you're right - OF, and a few games are cross-platform. GunFlame
I don't use, or want to use Open Feint. But I might start using Game Center. I'll update it that's the case.
Faiblesse Des Sens
So you want to support the closed system rather than the open one? Why?
GunFlame
Because I won't actually use Open Feint for anything else. Game Center will cover what I want it for.
fuchikoma
In that case, OF isn't even something you have to download. In games that support it, it's just an option. I'm really curious how they run it technically, but it's like a background app inside the game, and it looks and feels exactly the same in every game that supports it, even asking you if you want to automatically use your profile when you sign into a new game. They do have an app, but it's basically a gameless way to get the same interface, and the home screen offers you free games and sales. When a game supports it, I usually just say yes to GC and OF, though GC seems to be taking over as the new standard (I just wish they'd fix it so people couldn't hack in literally impossible scores on the leaderboards...)
