What are you eating?

A turkey pastrami sandwich (Pastrami made from turkey!) At first I thought it'd be gross but it's nearly indistinguishable from beef based pastrami. So it has much less fat and is significantly cheaper. I put the pastrami on bread and put brown mustard on it along with some cheese. I then brushed the bread with olive oil and put it in the toaster oven. A restaurant would probably charge $6 or more for that!

I just discovered there are a couple of Five Guys in my area. I'm gonna go try them out. My friends tell me you guys are lying when you say they are the best.

I finally tried it when I visited home and found they'd built one.

It's on par with In'n'Out, I guess, but they're very different burgers.

Either is still far better than any other burger fast food place I've had.

There's a Seattle only burger chain called Dick's (which is a prime source of jokes for fans) that is taaaaasty. I had it once when I visited years ago and once again this time. Maybe we'll get it on the way to the airport too! Probably not.

Sucks they're only in Seattle.

I'm about to go get some super tasty Mission burritos (at El Buen Sabor today) and Bi Rite ice cream, down by Dolores Park.

Fish and chips at a local place by my work. Nom'd it nice and slow since tonight I'll be having more leftovers from CNY... I think they changed their fish supplier and their batter a bit.

Hey Malish - where are your favorite burrito places in the city?

I only went up into the city to get burritos twice. I forgot where one is but it maybe in Mission. Not sure what it is called. Then there is a truck near my work place.

For one near my house, I go to Los Matates right across the street from City Toyota.

Now that I think about it... maybe I should of gotten a burrito with menudo... today is Saturday. FFFFF...

Are fish and chip shops common in the USA? I only imagine them being popular in the UK.
