Faiblesse Des Sens
Soba noodles with veggie broth (no miso on hand ATM), salt/pepper, dave's insanity sauce, sriacha, nutrtional yeast, lime juice, ginger, onion powder, garlic powder, fennel (not really working in this dish since the seeds are so small), and sesame seeds. Pretty typical for me. I threw some trader joe's veggie potstickers in there, too.
Mercurial
Made a breakfast pasty was pretty good. Could have used some flavor though...might add some habaneros to it next time.

TheRevanchist
Damn. Just had a Christmas potluck at work, and ALL of the food was actually good! Never had a potluck like that before. Ham, turkey, mash potatoes, gravy, rice pilaf, stuffing, lumpia, curry, chorizo-bean dip, chili, some chicken dish, teriyaki chicken balls, baklava, oreo chocolate truffles, banana cream pie, and shortbread cookies. Those are just the things I ate. Oh, I'm so friggin stuffed! I feel my fatness getting fatter. Ohhhhh....
madbassman39
Had a huge italian food feast that a sub-contractor brought in to wish us a happy holidays. I had spagetti, ceaser salad, cheesy bread, pizza and fried calimary. Overall it was too much food!

Little Pirate
I've been cooking a lot more lately. I made myself a real nice breakfast sandwich this morning. Mmmmmm.
Saturnine Tenshi
Sis brought bags and bags and bags and bags of pastries from the bakery she works at a week or so ago. STILL EATING THEM!
deanb
Pasta, with a chicken thigh, two fried eggs and some red pepper. Because I'm clearing out the fridge/freezer before I go to parents for a week+
Alex Heat
One of my younger cousins introduced me to sriracha/rooster sauce. It's delicious! Rebuttal from my digestive system:
Faiblesse Des Sens
It's not even spicy. I use it for flavor more than anything.
TheRevanchist
It's mildly spicy, but definitely more sweet. I love mixing it with mayo for many things. My parents decided to have a Christmas dinner at their place today. We had Chinese takeout AND a giant sushi platter. I ate until I could eat no more. Alex Heat
I started eating stuff with it last week, so I think my stomach just isn't used to it yet.
Mercurial
Do you not eat a lot of fiber?
Alex Heat
Oh, I do, but I've never felt it really mitigate the effects of spicy things. Or at least spicy things that I just started eating.
Faiblesse Des Sens
Do you not eat a lot of fiber? That'll just make it come out easier. Going down is probably the issue. But yeah, hot sauce + mayo is an excellent choice. At a previous job I would combine our various types of mayo (roasted garlic, sage, and horseradish) with this: And it tasted amazing. TCP
One of my friends went to THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and brought me back Berry Burst Oreos! In Canada I can only find regular and Golden Oreos (plus double stuff variety of both) but in the States they seem to have a variety of Oreo varieties. And holy fuck are they delicious. Seriously. If there's one thing America can do correctly, it's junk food.
TheRevanchist
We're fat and somewhat happy for a reason. Do you guys get Double Stuff Oreos, then? It's twice the white, delicious center!
TCP
Yes! We got double stuff and oreo ice cream which is delish, but no special flavours
TheFlyingGerbil
overdosed on baked Camembert. Tasty but very rich. Will be putting the rest in a macaroni cheese tomorrow with some boursin and any other bits of cheese we've got left over from christmas.
