Minirova
I seriously can't believe you've never heard of that...it's basically home made mac and cheese and once you eat it you can't eat that instant crap. I've never tasted any instant mac and cheese that comes close to that, and trust me, I know my mac and cheese. Even better is when you just barely undercook the pasta and then throw it into a baking dish with the cheese and some bread/cracker crumbs on top and bake it. GOD it's SO damn good. Minirova
I'm having left over pizza from last night. Om nom nom. Also, all this talk of people actually cooking and making delicious food makes me want to actually go to the grocery to get something to cook. Too bad all of the roads are one huge sheet of ice right now.
slithy toves
Yeah they are different but typically the powders you find are really really weak and not really flavorful. that's why it's worth just getting a bunch of spices and creating your own curry powders. curry powders you get at the store are crap, but they're actually pretty easy to make your own tasty mix. i prefer indian v. thai to cook for that reason, it's easier to make your own powder than paste. i made some tikka masala last night. yum! Pheermee
I much prefer Thai cooking. There is more diversity and complexity in the flavors.
Showmeyomoves!
Stuff that says "FIBERS!!" on it makes me think of stool problems. I'm having left over pizza from last night. Om nom nom. Also, all this talk of people actually cooking and making delicious food makes me want to actually go to the grocery to get something to cook. Too bad all of the roads are one huge sheet of ice right now. Can't you just ice skate to the grocery? Or take the snow mobile.
slithy toves
don't get me wrong, not knocking the thai food at all but i like making indian at home better, probably because i personally am better at making indian than thai food.
