Strangelove Posted September 30, 2011 Report Share Posted September 30, 2011 (edited) So I dont know if anyone else knows, but Subway is doing a promotion where you can get codes off their chips and drinks and enter them online to get free PSN and Uncharted 3 stuff like dynamic themes and even PSN credit or PSN+. If you get codes from their stores its one use, but they seem to put up multiuse codes on Facebook and Twitter. You can enter 3 codes a day, but you can enter as many times as you want with different emails(I entered about 6 times and used 3 codes each and won 3 months of PSN+ today). There are different levels of prizes you can win depending on where you got the code. Some people have won Uncharted 3 collectors editions from using one of their drink codes. Obviously the free codes dont apply for that. The odds of winning change depending on the people inputting codes, so I recommend putting them in really late at night or early in the morning to stand better chances. Also, every cup has a code for the multiplayer beta. (by the way, if you dont think this deserves its own thread, you can move it to the Uncharted 3 thread. I personally think getting free PSN credit or 3 months of PSN+ is something everyone with a PS3 needs to know about.) I've been trying to figure out if the (many) Subway's around here are actually doing it, and every one I call are completely oblivious to whats going on. They have no clue what it is. It was only today when a manager took the phone from her employee and asked me how I heard about it. She told me she was probably going to start setting out the cups and whatnot later tonight, so perhaps by tomorrow things will kick off. CAG people have also been calling around. You can call if you want it that badly. Ive never been good at bothering people on the phone. Went to Subway, they had all the promotional materials up and all that, but I don't think they got the special cup yet. When I asked the guy at the counter, he just put a sticker with a code on mine. When I tried to redeem it, it only let me select multiplayer cash or a dynamic theme, the early multiplayer access was still locked out. Im not going to play the multiplayer. I suck at it. I went today and I didnt get shit. All the signs were up, but the chips didnt have a code on it, neither did the sandwich or the cups. For some reason its not limited to 5 systems like all gamesharing content. I'm really, really bad at the multiplayer too and get raped up the ass, but I fucking own at co-op and whatnot so that was what I was looking forward to. Didnt ask either. I also bought an extra cup for 35 cents. Not too bad. I got the dynamic theme and extra cash in the multiplayer. Didnt win an instant prize though. Oh, and I updated the code list with some more. I suggest getting some codes from store bought stuff so youre eligible for the level 2 and 3 prizes, THEN using the multiuse codes. Most of them are pretty much oblivious to it, so you have to ask for them to put the GREEN sticker on the sandwich wrapper. I'm starting to wonder if the game is rigged to automatically fail for people not in the US. Depending on how many prizes are felt, and pretty much any other stat is going to determine the "probability." Last year, I must have gained a few pounds packing away McD's simply because of the "idea" I could roll a pair of dice and could land on a remaining property piece. They said they probably wouldnt be getting another shipment of promotional material either. Might be different in other places, but I would go sooner rather than later if you want those codes.
