In terms of shooter design... I like the gun sounds, but the gameplay flow is off (it looks like it isn't sure whether it wants to be a normal shooter (punchy, quick, tight), a console shooter (slower paced, looser, stickyaim), or a Deus Ex-like (less combat 'cause there's more not-combat stuff to do). The old-school shooter platforming was good.

Honestly? It looks like a new game, but looks like it plays more like an old-school game. I'm almost reminded of the original Half-Life, in a way.

Yeah, it's one of six reboots in twenty years to go first-person, and one of only two genuine shooters, but apparently a bunch of people seem to think it's a trend. How sad. This looks like a solid game, and a neat addition to the franchise. I like when franchises change up their genres (see Halo: Wars).

Just not sure how great of a shooter it'll be.

I like it. The setting and the gameplay are already intriguing enough to pique my interest about the game.

Also, co-op. I love my co-op.

EDIT: On top of that, the level that they'd shown just feels too much like a tutorial level. I doubt that breaching would work that fast in-game, or whether you'd have all the hack abilities (backfire, suicide, etc) post-tutorial. The way the level ended gave me a vibe that it's one of those "high level agent has mission go horribly wrong and ends up having to start all over again because he lost his stuff" or something like that.
