TCP
Probably.I just want trophies for Zelda and Mario games. Also like Smash Bros vs PS Allstars would be the greatest thing ever.

Saturnine Tenshi
PS All Stars had some god awful gameplay, but I did like some of the cast.
Faiblesse Des Sens
God awful? Seemed alright to me though nothing spectacular.
Saturnine Tenshi
I didn't like that it basically amounted to Smash Ball-type moves being the only thing that mattered.
TCP
I prefer the PS Allstars combat to SSB. My problem with PSASBR was the character roster... too many "classic" characters and a few modern characters were missing. Fortunately, that's something that could be corrected for a sequel. In news: Sony is pushing for all non-motion control games to work with the Vita via remote play, awesome. TheMightyEthan
Yeah, that to me is a system-selling feature. I fucking love being able to do that with the Wii U. I wish somebody would hack a way to get your PC to recognize the Wii U tablet as a monitor/controller. Splashtop is nice for remote PC gaming, but there's too much lag to use it for anything that requires any kind of fast response.

TCP
Shuhei is such a cool guy. That's awesome though, I really like the feature on my Wii U, problem is none of the games I want to play are on the Wii U.
Mr. GOH!
Remote play, as it currently works, means nothing to me. I live alone right now, but when I move in with my girlfriend we'll have two TVs and countless other entertainment screens. I'm surprised at the number of adults who have a single TV and want to stream games to their handheld devices. Now, if the stream were reliable outside of a local network, I'd be mighty interested. Too bad that's not gonna happen any time soon. Edited May 29, 2013 by Mr. GOH!
Mister Jack
This is pretty much exactly what I wanted. Sony would have to announce something truly nasty at e3 for me to not buy a ps4 now.

You might want to play on the couch next to someone just so you can hang out with them, or in bed, or anywhere else you wouldn't want to sit down in front of a TV. TCP
^^^ what he said. Also it's nice to be grinding in an RPG or looking for orbs in Infamous, something not exactly entertaining, and be able to watch TV while also doing your gaming. Multitasking!
Strangelove
I watch Netflix. Can you watch Netflix on your PS4 WHILE playing a remote play game on the Vita? Answer that, college boy. Actually, can the Wii U do it? Probably not I guess.
TCP
Ugh, I hope not. Canadian Netflix stinks, big time. I hope that RAM is used for games.

TheFlyingGerbil
I think I read somewhere, xbox is 4gb for gaming and 4gb for OS. Sony is 7gb for gaming and 1gb for OS. not sure how legit it was though.
Mister Jack
So now that remote play is confirmed for two consoles, I'm wondering which one people prefer. What's better to you? On one hand we have the Wii U, where the cost is built right into the console but if the controller breaks you have to pay 150 dollars to replace it if you want to keep playing Wii U games. On the other hand we have the PS4, where you have to pay 250 dollars for a separate handheld but it has a better touch screen and if it breaks you can still play PS4 games without it just fine. Faiblesse Des Sens
I think it will just make the Vita a bit more appealing for anyone planning on getting a PS4 and will make the PS4 more appealing for anyone with a Vita.
Mister Jack
That's probably what Sony cares about more than the Wii U but I'm just curious to see which one appeals more to people on a purely conceptual level.
TheFlyingGerbil
hopefully with two consoles supporting a "tablet controller" we will get some decent ideas for it not just map/inventory stuff. I suppose on a hypothetical level Sony's approach is better - you have an independent device, not just a slave unit and the option of whether or not you want the extra expense. In reality I guess it means that it will not have full use made of it. Having said that I can't imagine the Wii U pad will have that many killer uses even with guaranteed 100% buy-in. TheFlyingGerbil
I thought we were talking hypotheticals... we know both support remote play so I don't get what's to discuss on that front? other that the built in versus optional cost which I did mention.
