Mister Jack
Seeing that the bundled earbud that comes with the ps4 will most likely be a piece of shit, are there any recommendations for alternative headsets?
TCP
I love my officially branded PlayStation headset problem is, I'm not sure if it's going to be compatible with PS4 at launch. TheMightyEthan
I've got an Earforce X11 that I like a lot. It doesn't work with digital audio (I have an adapter), but they make others that do. PS4 doesn't work with standard bluetooth headsets though, so you'll need to either get something with a 2.5mm or 3.5mm jack or wait for officially licensed headsets to come out. The headset jack on the DS4 is 3.5mm, but you can get 2.5/3.5 dongles so a headset that uses either should work.

TheMightyEthan
What I said. They're aiming to have it patched in by the end of the year, but that's not set in stone. Edited November 12, 2013 by TheMightyEthan

TheMightyEthan
lol, sorry. I don't really know why I did that, tbh.
TCP
Ethan, you're just a jerk! Anywho, anyone planning on a new HDD? Looks like you only get 400GB to work with on PS4. I'll be waiting a year or so to see if 2TB drives come down in price, or if those new SSD drives that I hear so many people raving about cost any less and have any dramatic increases in performance for PS4. Faiblesse Des Sens
http://www.tomshardware.com/news/seagate-samsung-hdd-spinpoint-m9t,24997.html This is the drive you need to keep an eye on as it's the only 2TB that will fit.

TheMightyEthan
Yeah, I might upgrade it in a few years, but 400 gigs should be fine for now.
staySICK
Whenever I pick one up I plan on upgrading the HDD day one, or pretty damn close. pretty sad if my ps3 has a larger hdd than my ps4 Edited November 12, 2013 by staySICK
Mister Jack
I'm going to wait. Even with 400 GB I imagine it'll be some time before I have enough ps4 games to really need an upgrade.

Not that I don't trust you implicitly, because I do, but do you have a source? Or are you just going from @yosp's tweets and common sense?? Faiblesse Des Sens
So it's just another case of entitled gamers wanting it all here and now instead of being patient.
Mister Jack
Well they didn't say it wouldn't support it on day one. They just said no support. I think that gave people the wrong impression.
