Playstation 4

Are we talking Flash? In which case it's up to Adobe, and so far it'd seem they're only wanting to focus on Desktop, they already stopped official mobile support a fair while back.

As for MP4 and such, no idea on why they seem to have somewhat lacking media support. Obviously licensing can be an issue, but surely not a massive one since they'd covered most common file formats with the PS3.

I don't understand why they don't add it...Is it that much of a resource hog?

I would at least like the option to turn it on...or maybe turn it on ONLY when there isn't another application open?

You'll be alright lad, you're covered. http://www.destructoid.com/system-seller-pornhub-pledges-to-fully-support-the-ps4-265807.phtml

So, what are all the errors that can occur? There is a red line, blue line, blue blinking light and what else? Maybe I added a false extra. Most errors seem to be a warning or a fixable error. So so far, not bad. Yes, there are some bricked consoles but it doesn't seem to be that large of an amount considering it seems like one million units got sold in 24 hours. This is just in NA.

When the time comes, it'll be interesting to see the one year figure on bricked units though. If there are problems, I can see Sony stepping up with plans and solutions. So I feel safe with a purchase. Now if people go through a few PS4s... maybe not.

The two biggest issues I've read about are:

- Blue Blinking Light- the console is straight up damaged.

- W/e color it is when the HDMI port has an issue that can be fixed with a pin.

Instead of the 0.4% faulty devices Sony says they'll have, I would probably say it's closer to 2-3% (speculation). Which is acceptable. People forget that newer tech in general has failure rates of like 5%+ so it's within an acceptable margin.

As I was trading in my 360 and games today, I saw a bunch of the preordered PS4's in the back that people hadn't picked up. I swear there must've been like 20 there. I asked if I could get one of those lol but they said no. Obviously.

That's odd.  The leftovers that were never picked up should have been up for grabs after 2 days.

If that's the case I might call tomorrow to see if they're willing to sell the ones that werent picked up. Anybody have confirmation this is a Best Buy practice vs just what you've heard?

edit: just read in a website that it's 8 days after the midnight launch when the ones that weren't picked up are up for grabs. I'll be checking daily to see if new shipments have arrived.

I'm already buying some replacements for shit of the PS4 I don't like. Haven't gotten a PS4 yet but I ordered the 1TB SATA II HDD. I'm also looking for a replacement headset.

Anyone know of a good replacement headset with over-the-ear (aka cupping around the ear) an actual microphone (vs the in-the-cable kind) that is no more than $60?

Amazon's options when I get specific all have that in-line mic. Preferrably I'd rather have one that connects to the 3.5mm jack in the controller. I don't care THAT much about audio from people playing nor do I need to ever really play with the game audio in my headset either as I live in an apartment with my sister and she doesn't really hear anything that goes on in my room.

My friends PS4 died on him. He was even more excited then me, went to the midnight launch, and by 24 hours later his PS4 wouldn't boot up. He called Sony, they walked him through some things, nothing helped so they offered to send him a box to ship the PS4 in to get it repaired, which would take a few weeks. Fortunately he called EB Games, and they somehow had some extra PS4s (don't ask me how, when I was there they didn't even get enough to fill their pre-orders) and offered to give him a new one. Which meant he got TWO $10 PSN vouchers.
