TCP
I thought AC4 looked the most different, it looks awful on Xbone.

CorgiShinobi
I see you guys on my Friends List, so close, but yet so distant. Like we're on two different planes of reality, a mortal optimistically peering into the world of gods.
Mal
The Fellowship of the PS4 might be gods but they don't have power over the old gods; however, precautions must be taken to not be contaminated by their essence. It'll take time but we'll join them in their revel in pleasurable graphics. So soon...
staySICK
Called Sony this afternoon, should be getting my coffin soon. At least my backlog and lack of new games should ease the pain for a while.

Chronixal
It feels pretty good to sign on at almost anytime and have a load of friends online, as opposed to one or two before.
Waldorf and Statler
considering short supplies? it might take a bit.
TheMightyEthan
Sony has kept a reserve of units specifically to replace broken ones, so you don't have to wait. That's the idea anyway, let us know how it works in practice.
CorgiShinobi
Keeping a reserve stock has been a practice for games, like collector's editions and etc. This would be the first time where I think the method would have to hold its own for consoles given the ease of returning/replacing items online now. So even if faulty PS4s only make up 0.4%, that's still a lot of PS4s you'd have to replace. Fortunately Sony has the means to keep up production. Faiblesse Des Sens
Amazon didn't do that for my collector's edition of Dark Souls on PS3 I never got
CorgiShinobi
That's just how brutal Dark Souls is. At least, when it came to my destroyed Last of Us Survivor Edition, that was sold out indefinitely on Day One, the Amazon representative said they'd ship me a replacement. At that point in time I was frustrated (UPS blaming Amazon) and decided to save time (it had been three days) and money.
staySICK
I haven't actually got my coffin yet, hmm
Waldorf and Statler
do they have an estimated wait time before you should call? Like a week? I know that's the reason I don't like doing mail stuff much. Besides Gamefly and my amazon computer warranty. But they both have facilities in Austin, TX. So that means shit gets there within 2-3 days.
TheMightyEthan
It is possible to upload PS4 games to Youtube (some AC4 spoilers): The quality is surprisingly high considering that to get that I had to upload it to Facebook from the PS4, download it from Facebook to my PC using a ripper, and then upload the resulting file back to Youtube. Faiblesse Des Sens
Wow the quality on that is shit. What was the Facebook version like?
Waldorf and Statler
I'm assuming Sony will eventually add the option to upload gameplay straight to Youtube. You know since Youtube is currently so user-friendly with copyrighted material.
TheMightyEthan
Wow the quality on that is shit. What was the Facebook version like? A little better, but not much. When I downloaded it it was 94 MB, down from the 300 MB it was on my PS4. And Facebook is kind of notorious for shitty compression.

TheMightyEthan
I had made a really awesome video that I wanted to upload where I was capturing a fort in a raging thunderstorm, and there were like four frigates that happened to sail by and come to the aid of the fort. It was great. But somehow I lost the video.
deanb
Yeah Facebook is built for videos of the kids at the nativity play filmed on your phone, quality isn't really one of the biggest aspects. Just the ability to copy paste the file onto a USB stick would be ideal then that way you can do with it what you want, it's your video.
