TheMightyEthan
Yeah, it's much worse than Youtube (which I agree is pretty awful). And no, your only video upload option at the moment is Facebook. They've said they plan to add other services in the future though. You have slightly more options for screenshots, which you can upload either to Facebook or Twitter! Woo! No one knows why you can't just stick the raw video on a USB stick, that seems like it would be the obvious answer. Especially considering you can copy saves onto one, so it's not like they don't support it at all. Mr. GOH!
Oh, Dean, it is *not* your video. It's Sony's video of your gameplay to which you have a limited right of distribution and no right to alter.
deanb
11. Creating and Sharing Online11.1. UGM created and shared by you belong to you but we and, where applicable, the relevant Software publisher still have intellectual property rights in your UGM so you must not commercially exploit UGM without our consent and the consent of the Software publisher. IANAL but seems you own the video (just maybe not all the content within)
TheMightyEthan
And there is a built-in editing tool that lets you set the start and end points at least.
TheMightyEthan
Here's a link to the video as downloaded from Facebook, for comparison. I'm posting this before it's actually done uploading to Dropbox, so if the link appears broken that's probably why.

Waldorf and Statler
I wouldn't mind some HDTV porn, but I don't want to have an app for it. I still have standards. Until then I'll continue to watch my japanese hardcore tentacle pooping porn on my humble computer screen.

TCP
That's cool! Now give us: Video file playback (including mkv) PSOne/PS2 classics support Folders
TheMightyEthan
Video file playback is not going to happen, it's too niche a demand and it competes with their own video service as well as Netflix/Hulu/etc. PSOne/PS2 Classics support is on the way. Folders I agree with. The interface looks nice, but it's a PITA to have to scroll through every damn game you own in one horizontal line. They should have a "Games" section like with the "TV/Video" section.
Mal
The limited video file playback kind of neutered it, especially with MVK files. Kind of the main reason why I connected my PC to my TV which completely sidesteps the issue. In the future, I might not have the luxury unless I get a dedicated computer for it. TheMightyEthan
Praise the lord Jesus they're gonna let you turn off the lightbar! That fucker was a battery hog. *Edit* - Another thing they need to add, that to me is a way bigger oversight than local file playback, is the ability to play 3D blurays. TheMightyEthan
Yeah, it's better than nothing, but it's a stupid requirement in the first place so the fact that they won't just remove it irritates me. Unless I'm trying to play a game that uses the motion tracking I should be able to turn that shit off.
