toxicitizen
So, Telltale Games are a pretty good dev if you're into adventure PC games. I haven't played their Sam & Max seasons yet, but I definitely plan to. I've recently been playing Tales of Monkey Island, and it's pretty damn good. But none of their games are as exciting to me as their next one. Back To The Future is one of those movie trilogies I've been watching and rewatching since I was kid. I just never get sick of it. And every single time I finish the third one, I always get kinda sad that I don't get to see what happens next. Now, thanks to Telltale, that childhood wish will finally be fulfilled later this month! I'm pre-ordering this the second it shows up on Steam! Anyway, this is mainly about anticipation for the BTTF game, but feel free to discuss anything Telltale in here.
jayc4life
I'm thinking about getting Strong Bad when it drops on PS3 on the 22nd. Any good? *disclaimer: I've never watched Homestar Runner.
Mister Jack
Shit son, I'm all over this thread. And if you got any spare change, today you can get practically everything by Telltale (excluding Monkey Island and Back to the Future) in a bundle for about 50 bucks. toxicitizen
Haven't played Strong Bad either but based on Telltale's other games and the few cartoons I've seen, it should be worth a few laughs. I'm hoping it gets a nice discount on Steam over the holidays.

Chewblaha
While I'm actually excited about that Back to the Future game, I'm still wondering how you're going to actually play the game. It looks cool from a super loving of the Back to the Future sense of it, but I wonder just how the game itself is going to be. Or what it will be, even. Mister Jack
I don't expect a huge deviation from how telltale already does things.
Little Pirate
I'm in love with my Sam and Max series.

rainetemplar
I played the first and second season of Sam and Max and I loved every moment of it! I got Tales of Monkey Island when it was on sale, but haven't gotten around to playing it yet.
Little Pirate
I only played Secret of Monkey Island and I gotta say...
Mudkip3DS
Actually, FYI, LucasArts created the SMI remake, not TellTale. I seriously don't know what the hell they were thinking with the new art style there. Thankfully, the art style is much, much better in the MI2: LeChuck's Revenge remake. EDIT: Oh wait, you were just quoting your favorite lines from the game. Carry on then.

Mister Jack
I liked the SMI remake...Even if you don't like the new art style you can just put it on classic mode and enjoy the voice acting.

Actually, you only get the voice acting in classic mode with the MI2 Remake. No voices available in classic mode on SMI. Thankfully, the LucasArts community were (rightfully so) kinda annoyed by this, and decided to make their own patch! http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=199288 The patch actually fixes a lot of stuff in the classic version, not only just adding voices. I've tried it and it really works great.
toxicitizen
While I'm actually excited about that Back to the Future game, I'm still wondering how you're going to actually play the game. It looks cool from a super loving of the Back to the Future sense of it, but I wonder just how the game itself is going to be. Or what it will be, even. Judging from what little gameplay footage I've seen, I expect it'll be pretty much like every other Telltale game. i.e. walk around, pick up stuff to use later and find out new information/what you're supposed to do through conversations. Mister Jack
That's fine with me. When I want a point and click, Telltale always comes through for me.
Dev_Revenge
Really looking forward to this. Right now if you pre-order for $25 you get all five episodes as well as a free (with s/h) dvd copy (I assume of the 'story' after it's all released.) I'm still holding out for a sale but going to support this release. Really cool how they got Christopher Lloyd in on the VA. The guy they got for Marty is amazing too, thank goodness. Mister Jack
I'm holding out for a bit to see if the steam version has any unique bonuses. If not I'll order directly from TT.

Mister Jack
Devil's Playhouse was really good. You should at least go to telltalegames.com every day until Christmas. They have a different sale going on every day. Maybe you'll get lucky and can get it cheap.
rainetemplar
I really really hope so. Steam Christmas Sale..NOW! :bun-earthshake: :bun-earthshake:
Mister Jack
Check both sources. They don't always have the same sales.
rainetemplar
I will do that, thanks for the tip. I may just replay the last episode of season 2, to catch up.
Mister Jack
You can get all three seasons of Sam and Max today for 20 bucks. If you bought the first two on steam, this would still make you eligible for free DVDs of all three seasons with special bonus materials on them. Thought you might want to consider that, Temp. As far as I know it's ONLY today.
