TheForgetfulBrain
I know! My mind boggles, as to how they can produce so many quality adventure games, so often.
Mister Jack
They must have gotten a hell of a lot of capital from Back to the Future which is allowing them to expand and take on more projects.
rainetemplar
Hmm, a Walking Dead game? I approve. :worship:
Mister Jack
Telltale is giving Sam and Max season 3 away for free to anyone who signs up for a free trial of Netflix through April 4th. You have to do it through their site, naturally. http://www.telltalegames.com/community/blogs/id-
deanb
Ah the Netflix thing does explain why it's US/canada only (got the email this morning, kind of miffed. Why do they even send a US/Canada only deal to a .co.uk address anyway?)
TheFlyingGerbil
The first episode of Back to the future is free at the moment if you don't already have it.
MasterDex
I believe the coupon is for the free game (your choice) they're giving to those who preordered and I think all the preorders are off until futher notice. Not sure though.
TheMightyEthan
Yeah, you're supposed to use the coupon code for whatever game you want. As for whether your pre-order was cancelled or not, I would see if you can check your Telltale account to see if the order is still active. Tinkelp
The real question here is what constitutes "a game." Is it a single episode or a whole season?
TheMightyEthan
That is a good question.
Tinkelp
That's what has me so confused! I pre-ordered to get access to a whole season and all of the episodes. Would ordering again entitle me to the same deal? You can't purchase Jurassic Park anymore. That's why they're refunding you and supplying a coupon instead of only pushing the release date back. I haven't received a refund on my card yet. So, I'm wondering if that might disappear when the refund goes through... or if I use the coupon. The e-mail was so ambiguous that I'm really confused about the status of my order... Keep an eye on your credit card statements and Telltale games page. Best case scenario: your refund will show up at the same time as the game being removed from your account. If the refund or removal happens before the other then contact support after a few days. I've had to talk to them before about accessing the Monkey Island pre-order bonus forum and they got back to me the next day.
TheMightyEthan
That's what has me so confused! I pre-ordered to get access to a whole season and all of the episodes. Would ordering again entitle me to the same deal? See, there's a little wrinkle with the whole "season" and "episodes" thing: the game is coming out on disc on 360, which implies that it will be the entire season and not just one episode. Telltale has also said that the game is launching "simultaneously" on PC, PS3 and 360. That, combined with the pushed-back date has led to speculation that Jurassic Park won't be being released episodically at all, but will only be available as a full season. Thorgi Duke of Frisbee
I was watching the Quick Look for Hector, and boy, the team that developed it (Not Telltale, Telltale is only publishing it) really skimped on the voices. It's like every voice is equally awful.
Mister Jack
The complete Sam and Max is only 17 bucks on Steam right now.
TheFlyingGerbil
Did anyone play Puzzle Agent, and would recommend anyone else play it? I like the looks of it.
rainetemplar
I've played the first Puzzle Agent, and I liked it. I was browing Steam today and noticed Puzzle Agent 2. I might buy that one soon. It's kinda like Professor Layton, but for PC. If you like Layton and/or simple puzzle games, go for it. The art style is interesting and while I never really laughed out loud, the game can be funny.

Puzzle Agent 1 and 2 are great games. A bit short, but for the price I didn't expect much else. Parts of Puzzle Agent 2 did make me laugh out loud, too.
