Faiblesse Des Sens
Anyone know why I can't buy some of the free games PS+ offers? Like right now it says I'm not eligible for Hitman Absolution Special Edition or Dokuro for PS Vita, whenever I try to put it in my cart. I just want to buy them then never play them ever. But it's not letting me! Odd. I've never had that happen. What region are you?
TCP
Maybe try purchasing them on the webbrowser store?
TheMightyEthan
US doesn't have the web browser store. Unless that's changed in the last couple weeks. *Edit* - That seems to have changed in the last couple weeks. *Edit 2* - Now that I check, it's giving me the same error as eleven, but on the web store. TheMightyEthan
That was on the web store that it gave me the error, but when I went to the PS3 I realized I'd already bought Hitman, just for some reason it wasn't showing up as purchased on the web store. Other free games are working fine for me to buy through the web store.
Eleven
US. I was doing it on the web browser store. The PSN Store on the PS3 is so very slow! But yeah it's just like Ethan said! It's already purchased on the device, but not on the web store. Weird. Edited August 24, 2013 by eleven
Thursday Next
Can you not just wait till it is no longer a Plus perk, then buy it?
TheMightyEthan
That would cost money.
Thursday Next
I thought that was what you wanted to do! As in "I want to own this without the PS Plus requirement." Or "I love this game so much I just want to give money to the devs." My bad. Is it not showing in your download list?
TheMightyEthan
It was throwing an error on the web store when we tried to "purchase" it for free. Apparently it went through though because when we went to the console store it showed as being purchased.

Chronixal
Somewhat tempted to make the most of the extra 3 months with a year subscription at the moment to top up my current sub. That'd take me well into 06/16 so I wouldn't have to worry about it for sometime that way. That said, the EU PSN+ offerings are a little weak this month, IMO. Nothing really jumps out at me that I want to play.
Thursday Next
Stealth Bastard is a great title. Though you may have played it already on PC.
CorgiShinobi
EU PS+ for October For anyone who hasn't played Far Cry 3 yet, it's a fun game that I thought was worth $30, but now it'll be free to EU PS+ members. What I'm truly jealous of is that Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen will also be free! I've already stated how disappointed I was that the extra content and fixes were only available in a new retail game, but at least someone out there will soon be getting all that content FREE. TheMightyEthan
EU PS+ kicks the crap out of NA PS+. Just as a general rule.
Faiblesse Des Sens
EU PS+ kicks the crap out of NA PS+. Just as a general rule. Doesn't it vary? Like NA gets some stuff earlier tahn EU and vice versa but in the end it all ends up mostly the same?
CorgiShinobi
I'm hoping, in time, that NA PS+ will be seeing these games as well. Off the top of my head I know Sleeping Dogs and Vanquish were available for free on the EU side before they arrived to NA members. For now there's Ico this week, which I think makes an excellent free game.
TheMightyEthan
It might just be the things I'm specifically interested in, but it seems to me that EU PS+ consistently gets better games than NA PS+. Occasionally NA will get something good that EU hasn't gotten, but more often it's the other way around.
Strangelove
It varies. This update belongs to EU though. No comparison. But I think for the most part that while EU gets the better free games, NA gets the superior sale prices.
TheMightyEthan
I never buy anything in the sales, the free games are pretty much all I care about.
CorgiShinobi
We got Ico before, and now Shadow of the Colossus is free to PlayStation Plus. People go crazy over this game, and now it's FREE to play with PS+. If you don't play it, you can't join in on our insanity.
TCP
I'll be playing this via Remote Play to my Vita... it'll be like it's November 15 2013!! I purchased this game in 2010 or so for PS2, never played it much, purchased the Ico/SotC collection at launch finished Ico but never finished Shadow. I think I'm at the second or third colossus. Those goddamn evil colossus are going down.
CorgiShinobi
I'll put this here again; so anyway we have Greatness Exchange similar to the previous event where network users would spend their Gold trophies in an auction setting. Unless you were an obsessive gamer or hacker, you didn't have a chance of winning anything. That's why this time it's a sweepstakes. Sure, I think if someone puts in a couple hundred they'd have a better chance, but the more people, the less of a chance still. EDIT: On a side note, most of the stuff up for raffle are costumes from the commercial. There are four weapon props from the Elder Scrolls portion, and then there are two "experiences" where you go someplace, get something, blah blah. Last prize is a "Mystery Box." If nothing else catches your fancy, might not hurt putting your whole lot in there. If I had to guess, it's probably a PS4 bundle of sorts. It does end on the 15th, a.k.a. PS4 launch.
