Vile
Classic and early X. My favorite game overall was the first Megaman X. You can probably guess why. I don't think that Megaman 2 is the best classic game at all, reason being it has a bunch of near useless weapons and easy Master patterns. The music is nostalgic sure, but that is also bested by games such as Megaman 3 and other later games. This, of course, is just strong opinion. Strangelove
I have a lot of memories of other people playing them, but not me. They were always way too hard. The only one I ever finished was Megaman 8. Also, Megaman Zero 3 was easy enough for me to play. I liked that one.
Vile
The Zero series wasn't nearly as hard as classic or X, but they were some really fun games with a very cool story. A lot of collectables, too. They should've had Vile there somewhere.
BrainHurtBoy...2
I fucking love Mega Man. My favorites are, in this order, Mega Man 3 Mega Man X Mega Man Legends Mega Man. Mega Man is awesome. The words 'Mega Man' sound weird to me now.
Vile
My order would be X and 3 flipped on the list but they're pretty close.
RockyRan
Classic. All the way. Also liked the X series but mostly just the SNES games.
Chewblaha
Mega Man 3 Mega Man 4 Mega Man 2 Mega Man X Mega Man Mega Man Legends Mega Man Zero. If you don't like Mega Man, then "yer not a gummer."
Vile
3 has the best bosses. Hands down.
Baconrath
I think it was in X6 that knees were first invented and Megaman learned how to duck
Vile
Classic would be too hard with crouching/ducking. Another dimension to consider when dodging boss attacks
Eleven
Megaman 5 intro music was the best!
excel_excel
I wish they'd do a compilation of the games today. I know they did the Mega Man anniversary collections, but they are long gone today and weren't perfect in their emulation
Eleven
A PSN/Xbox Live compilation? They have a PS2 compilation according to Amazon...
Nipah
I was always pretty bad at the old Mega Man games... I could probably beat 1-2 levels of the original NES ones, and that was the extent of my skill. Later on, I managed to get a bit better, but I could never really get into the X ones. I believe I beat two of the games on the GBA with Zero (those were brutal), and I know for a fact I beat the first Mega Man Legends (but stalled out on the second one). Overall, I love me some Mega Man (my current pointer cursor for my PC is an animated Mega Man), but I'm generally bad at the games.
Mal
Honestly... I've been bad at all of them. Well, maybe not at X but yeah...
Baconrath
I have the Mega Man X Collection for the Gamecube. It shows on the back of the case that there's a racing game in addition to X through X6 but it doesn't tell you that you have to beat Megaman X, Megaman X2 and Megaman X3 to unlock it. Capcom why :c
Alex Heat
My older brother had Mega Man 2 when I was a kid so that was the one I played the most, but I've played damn near all of them (save for 1-4 on the Gameboy). I'm partial to the X and Legends series, though I enjoyed Command Mission a lot.
Faiblesse Des Sens
I was always a big fan of Mega Man X series. I like the non-X games but certainly not as much. I hated the GBA battle network games or whatever the fuck they were. They always felt half assed. I missed out on the Legends bandwagon as a kid and I can't get into it trying to play these days. Mister Jack
Most of you probably know about this already, but Keiji Inafune, the creator of Mega Man, has a Kickstarter for a new game. The star of the game is NOT Mega Man, but his original character, Beck.
