Good movie, ok movie and bad movie. I like to think it as a way to immediately call out shit tastes (e.g., why the hell are you putting this movie in this thread!?). Fair enough. 11 hours ago, Mal said: While similar enough, they have enough differences and are each large enough to separate out. You can see similar things going on in other sites. As for webcomics, take a look at it and figure out where it best goes. Chances are Japanese webcomics may follow more of a manga feel while Western webcomics may follow a more comic feel. Personally, I got to figure out a space for manhwa and manhua since I'm slowly getting into them. Chances are it will go into this thread since they may follow a more traditional comic feel. And yes, you can easily find comics and manga that break their cultural mold. Yup, like westernized manga (inverted, changed graphics, etc). It just seemed unnecessary to me when “Comics, Manga, etc.” would fit everything; a fan of let’s say flipbooks could also find an interesting manhwa where otherwise he wouldn’t even look at such a place. Now… where should put my soviet-era erotic funny papers ? 11 hours ago, Mal said: Nice bait but yeah, we are slow. Consider this place a hole in the wall bar for a small group of locals to shoot the shits. Seriously, no bait there. I really didn’t know what other word to use. Mal
Sage Volume 9... With that, Saga also has been on a year long hiatus since July. Maybe December of next year will I get to continue. Gah. And according to Brian Vaughan, we're only like half way through...
deanb
Alex Ross being the guy behind art of Kingdom Come and Marvels. Two pretty good comic books.
deanb
Miracleman is certainly one of the darker/weirder comics I'd read. Quite a twisted take on the Shazam storyline (this video does briefly show a particular scene where the villain/black adam-like decides to have several hours of super-powered "fun" and debauchery in London).
