I've just gotten a copy of Men of War: Assault Squad. Any takers?

Games I'm presently interested in that are cheaper than the value of Men of War : Introversion bundle (mostly Defcon), Anomaly: Warzone Earth, Dungeons of Dreadmoor, Fate of the World (whatever the one with all its DLC is), the Polynomial, and Hard Reset.

I'm also interested in the new Red Orchestra, but it's more expensive, and I won't get paid until the end of January 'cause there's no work over Christmas break, and paychecks don't hit until two weeks after they're submitted. So... if anyone's feeling generous, I've also got 50% off both Super Meat Boy, Cyan Worlds, Valve, and Focus Home Interactive, and another 25% off Focus Home Interactive.

Well, after struggling to get it to work all evening, I finally managed to play an hour of Rusty Hearts to get.... a second 50% Fallout 3 coupon

That one actually stung a bit. Coal would have been preferrable!

I did manage to craft Serious Sam HD First Encounter earlier today, though. I already own it, but at least it's something to trade.

The only thing I've got that's worth anything so far is a -50% Rockstar Games coupon. L.A. Noire is currently only -25%, so it would be cheaper with this.

Still up for trading away any of my TF2 items, or the other coupons I have if anyone wants them for some absurd reason.

Bought the indie bundle that included three separate Steam games, wrote a review and played the free games and paid games for: Coal, coal, coal, coal annnd....coal.

So...with one paid indie bundle game left to play, I figure I actually want coal now.

50% off Hard Reset coupon

I'll probably want the coal, I figure I'll get two more and see what they give me. Does anyone have any interest in the above coupon or 25% off Activision?

I don't expect I'll have any use for either.

Skyrim, Arkham City or Deus Ex coupons (or the coupons good those publishers) and coal are what I'd be most interested in. ;)

(Also, am I the only one pretty much willing to download and play anything free for these challenges? Not sure why it's so addictive.)

Nope. I've done all the "free" achievements so far, so I've downloaded quite a few F2P games. Thank God for unlimited bandwidth.

It was kind of a mixed bag. CrimeCraft was absolute and utter shit, Spiral Knights was just not for me and Rusty Hearts was... okay, I guess. Not good enough for me to keep playing, but it was decent.

Rise of Immortals, on the other hand, was actually good enough to get me interested in moba games, a genre I had zero interest in before. Probably won't get into it until Dota 2 comes out, though.

I think I'll start taking it easy on the achievements, though. At first I was getting mostly coal, which was fine. But now I seem to be getting coupons almost exclusively.

I mean, look at this http://steamcommunity.com/id/FLD/inventory/

Mostly 50% off games that either cost 5-10$ or that I already own. Not one but TWO coupons for Fallout 3. And I actually got the Beat Hazard one shortly after buying the game.

It was fun to do the achievs and craft coal in a gambling kinda way, maybe win a game. But now it's starting to feel like a waste of time.

I still think this is the best "event" Valve have done so far. It's just the coupons that weren't that great of an idea.

Sounds like it's definitely not just me. And yes, the gambling feel to smelting coal or simply getting a new gift from an achievement is part of the addiction.

What I thought was interesting is that my feeling on the games was totally different from yours. I couldn't stand Rise of Immortals (I wasted time on PvE thinking it might be worth learning the game), I enjoyed CrimeCraft's non-snowball standard FPS gameplay, and even the snowball match was somewhat enjoyable after mapping the snowball to my mouse. Spiral Knights was pretty fun for what it was (but then I gave away all my Spiral Knights money to someone who probably has no need for it. :P ) and I actually enjoyed Rusty Hearts, despite despising the DMC games.

I'll probably continue to play the free games, but you're right, it's starting to feel like significantly diminishing returns. But maybe I'll get a coupon or free game I really want, who knows?

EDIT: New challenges are up. Looks like I'm playing Team Fortress 2 for the first time ever tonight. :P

I know this a bit unorthodox but I was hoping to trade my Rome: Total War and Alien vs. Predators(2010) for a copy Assassin's Creed 2. My reason for this is with my recent purchase of FO3, I am content with enough games. I want to gift Assassin's Creed 2 to brother to get him started on his steam account

Edit: Never mind on above, brother received game from friend. But, they are still up for trade including 50% off GTA: Vice City and 33% off idsuperpack.

Hey, guys, I've still got Men of War: Armed Assault up for trade. Since Shogun's on sale (and cheaper), I don't suppose anyone wanting to get the achievements would like to buy me a copy of that? I'll trade Armed Assault for it, and you'll save a buck or two.

Also interested in Defcon/Fate of the World/Revenge of the Titans (which is still $2.49 but only for another two hours), which comes to about two cents cheaper than Shogun.

Either works for me.

I'll throw in all my coupons (7 50% off coupons, 1 25% off) if you get Shogun+one of those titles

@ Ethan Not all Valve games turn into gift coupons when redeemed (Don't think the source games or garry's mod do) and there's a limit to how many you can have at a time as well. I know that you couldn't have more than x valve games as a gift coupon at the same time as well. It's a bit tricky if memory serves me right. I know that I had some Orange Box games that didn't turn into gift coupons during the second gifting.

Decided I'll just keep the coal for now.

Anyways I got Worms: Crazy Golf though I really wish I got Rochard or Sideway (Similar price at the moment too :/) and also got the following coupons.

Coupons

50% X Gold

50% Dawn of War: Retribution

50% Shogun 2: Total War

50% Beat Hazard Collection

50% Worms Crazy Golf

50% ZenoClash

50% Audiosurf

50% Abe's Exodus

25% Atari

50% Dawn of War: Retribution

Would you be willing to trade for that? The items I have in my inventory are:

Pound of Ground (full game)

33% off Valve Complete Pack

50% off Tales of Monkey Island Complete Pack

I missed the sale on Retribution, and I don't have enough funds at the moment to purchase it right now (50% off) so I'm hoping to use the coupon at some point next year to get it.
