Mister Jack
I'm hearing quite a few good things about this app, and with news that Epic will be selling licenses to other iphone devs, it's looking likely that the state of mobile gaming will soon be changing quite a bit.If you own the game, discuss it here. You can also speculate on how this milestone app will affect gaming on mobile platforms in the future.
Kau_Kau
It needs more, I maxed everything out in a couple of hours. I've had some issues with the dodging and parrying, but it could be because I'm not too good with visually tactile games. I would have preferred another way to dodge or use the shield, like multi touch. Also I saw no point to improving the shield stat since the bosses can break through it anyway. It doesn't seem to improve toughness either. The camera can also ge disorienting at tmes. I still had fun with it though, and look forward to the updates. Mister Jack
Couple hours? I guess with those graphics it had to sacrifice something.

Well, most ipad/iphone games don't last too long, but you keep playing it for a better score. This is another one that you can keep playing over and over again. It kind of forces you too. The initial playthrough of yhe first bloodline can take about half an hour.
Mister Jack
I got this app gifted to me a little while ago. I haven't had much time to play it yet, but goddamn the graphics are incredible. Videos don't really do it justice, you have to SEE this thing up close. staySICK
I really want to try this game out, hoping they decide to go for a port to android. I'd pay for it. I'm thinking about getting Dungeon Defenders, an Unreal powered action rpg / tower defense blend game for android.
Mister Jack
If they made a game like this for the Move or Kinect, I think it'd do pretty well. I can definitely see the potential.
fuchikoma
It needs more, I maxed everything out in a couple of hours. *drags thread kicking and screaming back from the dead* A couple hours??? Does that mean that your God King is even level 99,999 or something? Or just the gear you were wearing? fuchikoma
So, has anyone picked up IB 2 yet? I'm wondering if there's a grinding loop in this one too, like the spiral staircase they added to the first game? That was a handy way to gain XP and cash without levelling up the God King. Mister Jack
Doesn't that require an iphone 4 or later? I have a 3GS.
fuchikoma
I don't think so... I have a 3GS as well. The first one runs great most of the time, with a bit of (maybe intentional?) lag when you stun a guy. They say the second one also runs on a 3GS, but they strongly recommend iOS 5. Mister Jack
I have the first one but I didn't buy the second because I thought it required the newer one. Bah, my iPod is totally full anyway.
