  1. 1. Will you buy Borderlands 2?

    • Definitely!
    • Probably at/around launch
    • Probably, at some point (if goes on sale and I need a new game)
    • Probably not
    • No.
  2. 2. If you buy it, what system will you buy it for?

    • PC
    • PS3
    • Xbox 360
    • There is absolutely no way I'm buying it.

So we have our 4th member of our 4-pack in Waldorf And Statler. So, Duke and Eleven, when would you have the cash to be able to buy it? It'd be 45 US dollars a pop, but someone would have to go in on the 4 copies first and then have us send you the money via Paypal or something of the like. I'm willing to go in on the first payment if I have the cash, but it all depends on when you guys are able to pay me back for it. I know I'll have the 45 bucks whenever, but I'm not 100% sure if I'll be able to make that first 100+ investment all the time.

If none of you can front the whole $180 I'll do it, free of charge. I'll want the paypal payments first though. ;)

*Edit* - Actually, is it possible to gift out all 4 copies of a 4 pack, or does it automatically redeem one for the purchaser?

I see Spork sent me the game already. What do I do to send you the money via Paypal? Instructions from another person who paid you already would be nice.

nvm it's really easy.

edit 2: nvm already paid it. Lemme know if I sent it right.

Well it's really convenient to have this. Now I have a pretty good idea of how I'll go for my Maya build over-all. She's specifically meant for co-op, which is how I'm planning on playing the game anyways. For single-player I'll probably have the mechromancer or some shit like that.

I'm going to be Zero, much like how I was Mordecai in the first. (Edit: Though when Mecromancer is out, I'll want to give that class a shot too.)

I'm really excited for the sequel to be honest. When I got the first game, I had slight interest in it, but my sister wanted to give me the right game for Christmas. I regret not trying to play co-op more as it would have made some of the dry parts more enjoyable.

Except for that ending.

I'm excited to play with my friends, but we've already reached the point where I have been wanting to be the Siren for a while and another friend is trying to argue how he is gonna be the Siren. I was all "you do realize there are 4/5 characters and like 8 of us right? Chances are two people want their first char to be the same thing."

Yeah, I think the only character that I got to a remotely high level in Borderlands 1 PC was Mordecai, and that was just because he was the character I cooped with my friend on his xbox. I had/have something like 6 characters all below level 20 I think just from starting to play with friends and then abandoning them.

How Borderlands 2 Fixes Borderlands 1's Eight Biggest Problems (EDIT: Goes to Page 1 now...)

I haven't been really hyped for the game, but with all this confirmation of how the sequel is definitely improving on the first, I can't wait!

If only I had more friends who weren't getting it for 360 or PC. :(

Yeah this "Borderlands 2-RU" seems to be blowing up a fair bit.

http://www.reddit.co...etting_our_own/

Well, I guess "Le Reddit" is good for something.

Pretty shitty. I hear it's to do with the 1C publisher more than it is to do with Gearbox, they sound pretty shitty.

Most likely. The story of Russian game publishers is a sad one. Imagine if Hitler was alive and owned a publishing company, well, that's 1C in a nutshell.

The funny thing in this situation is that 2k/steam/gearbox/1c pissed off a lot more people than they planned(?) to. Lithuanians and Estonians hate Russia and Russian language. So when they saw that 50 euro version turn to "Borderlands 2 RU" I guess they were pretty fucking upset.

There's also some info that 2k did this. I hope with this much of resonance we'll hear at least something from one of those companies.

edit: FYI region locking is a common practice here after a lot of MW2 keys were registered outside of Russia in 2009. At first it was nice to have cheap games, but I have always had a bad feeling about this. Steam heavily hindered piracy in Russia but now we face this. People are practically forced to pirate games because of this.
