Faiblesse Des Sens
http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/resident-evil-6 Looks like this one is really going to slit people.
Mister Jack
I played the demo of the PS3 version and I remember thinking the controls were friggin atrocious.
sixrocket
4.5/10 3/10 6/10 5/10 FROM KNOWN PAID REVIEW SITES ITS OVER, CAPCOM IS FINITO
Waldorf and Statler
As much as I hate Capcom's current business moves as the next guy, how is Capcom Finito? The game has worldwide brand recognition so it'll still sell well.
Luftwaffles
Yep. In the grand scheme of things reviews don't mean jack shit.
Waldorf and Statler
IGN gave it a 7.9. Considering the amount of non-internet savvy people that check that site, I'd say that's good enough for them.
Mal
Well, in the end though, I expect heads to roll especially if jobs are tied to stuff. like Metalcritic. This is terrible for such a major franchise.
Faiblesse Des Sens
Just watch this be the best selling title in the series yet. "OH MAN MORE ACTION AND IT HAS 3 STORYLINES AND YOU CAN PLAY ONLINE"
Popular Post Waldorf and Statler
Capcom will spin it around in trailers ala Hollywood. Critics are raving over Resident Evil 6. "Resident Evil is the.... game"- Destructoid "Best Resident Evil game? HA! Now that is... for sure"- Kotaku "This game gave me... fun..."- Eurogamer
CorgiShinobi
I know a few people who are still going to get the game anyway, and I fully expect them to lie to themselves about anything deemed atrocious. EDIT: And IGN giving it a 7.9 isn't like GameTrailers giving it a 8.8 or even Game Informers 8.0. Edited October 2, 2012 by Atomsk88
Waldorf and Statler
Basically the mainstream reviewers a big part of people check are giving it ok reviews. It'll sell more than fine.
Strangelove
I just noticed this doesnt have Move support. I wish it did. RE5 with Move is great and RE4 Wii Edition is also as great.
Faiblesse Des Sens
It would play horribly with the Move. It's bad enough with a controller.
toxicitizen
Yeah, I can imagine it working great with 4 and 5 because of the stop and shoot controls. But with how fast the characters move in 6, it would just be a huge clusterfuck.
Mister Jack
Hopefully this game gets one of those "we fucked up so here's a huge patch to fix the controls and menus and shit" patches that some games get when they launch with a lot of problems. That's probably optimistic of me, though.
Waldorf and Statler
Something must be wrong with me I am enjoying this game. I am meele'ing everything I see as Leon. LUCHADOR MOVE GO.

Waldorf and Statler
Once I get to Chris and Backstreet Boy I'll see how much different it is. But I could play these games for the story alone If only they dropped more freaking HERBS
Strangelove
I'm having a blast too. The mechanics are deep enough to not get dull, and the melee system is awesome. There's a lot of nuances and variety to your character to keep you interested. I'm also finding the game decently challenging. It's nice. I'm also a sucker for RE's awful plot. So I'm sticking to it. Waldorf and Statler
Just beat Leon's story. If this was my whole RE6 experience, I'd be more than satisfied. Now to try Chris' and Backstreet Boys
Dee
I'm having a blast too. The mechanics are deep enough to not get dull, and the melee system is awesome. There's a lot of nuances and variety to your character to keep you interested. I'm also finding the game decently challenging. It's nice. I'm also a sucker for RE's awful plot. So I'm sticking to it. Pretty much this. The so-called awful plot is what I've come to expect. It was horrid in 5 and I actually wasn't all that interested in 4's plot either, but Leon's story was fun and the mechanics and the various attacks are entertaining; especially depending on which weapon you're holding. It's neat and I am having fun. I'm not irked by the buttons I'm forced to press and it is rather challenging at times, which makes for a good enough game. Then again, my expectations weren't terribly high. I knew it would be entertaining to play just from the demo, but I also knew that it wasn't going to be as strong in other aspects and that was totally fine with me. Haven't beat Leon's campaign yet, though. I've played through most of it, but my friend keeps bitching about wanting to play so I needed to stop at some point. He's coming over today and we'll probably do split screen. : D
Waldorf and Statler
Leon's hair alone should've given this game at least a 6/10 from everybody.
Mister Jack
So I've started playing this game. I didn't buy it but I'm playing someone else's copy and right now I'm on the Leon campaign. I'm on Act 2 so far. Too many enemies, not enough ammo. That's the biggest problem I have so far. It's not bad enough to make me quit (yet) but it is definitely a step down for the series. Waldorf and Statler
Mister Jack: Leon's campaign is notorious for not giving enough ammo, and just wait until you have all the weapons and can't grab much extra because herbs don't stack. Was I ever in the position where I needed more ammo and literally couldn't do shit? Not entirely but I pretty much in some battles in acts 4 and 5. You shouldn't be so low on ammo just yet. I suggest you do melee moves more often. I basically black dynamite'd the whole campaign as Leon except with bloodshots and the fatties.
