Cyber Rat
So, a friend and I are working on a gaming site called "Play, Save, Paws". It'll have your typical stuff: news, reviews, previews and opinion pieces. What makes it stand out is that neither of us will be writing, but rather my friend's cat will. We'll handle all the site and administration stuff, and our involvement in the actual articles will be only inserting headlines and images. Since the cat (H.P. Mittens) doesn't have opposable thumbs, he can't play games (obviously), but he will observe playthroughs of them and then write his thoughts for the site. Here is a writing sample so you can get an idea of what to expect: b vnnnnnnnn[';u78m,k 87U? okilhjn;pl.n';[/////////////mmmm,mk r ;.llllll ;8.lu7 km,j bk,mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm'jop -yt[hg= .,,,,,,,,,, Sadly, the cat said he wanted to use scores for reviews as well. Those were his demands. So, my question is, would any of you read this?
deanb
If the images are funny at least. Otherwise it could get old fast.

Strangelove
It sounds like a good idea, except I think it needs something else to it. It either needs good writing or funny pictures. Im thinking you could type out what the cat thinks like planned, and then add your own captions on what you think the cat is thinking about the game based on your observations of what hes doing or where he's looking while he's "playing". I think trying to explain what pets do is often funnier and more interesting than what they actually do. Or something like that.
Cyber Rat
Just for reference, this cat actually sits at the keyboard and presses the keys. The sample wasn't me randomly mashing the keyboard. Thanks for the suggestion, Strangelove. We'll be taking notes on his behaviour and adding captions to the writing. Waldorf and Statler
I'm with FDS here. This sounds like it would work in a twitter account, not a full-on gaming blog.
