Thursday Next
Any motorsport fans on the forum? The F1 testing season is kicking off right now. Lots of ugly new cars, one gorgeous Mclaren and a Red Bull that has a mysterious slot in its nose. Can't wait to see how it all pans out.
deanb
I watch occasionally with my dad. But that's not been for a long time.
Thursday Next
I love it. Stats and science and cars! Since we don't know fuel loads, or how high up the engines are turned and what not timings don't mean much, but, Kimi looks quick in the Lotus. Kovach_
Yeah, i watch with my dad every now and then. I don't really get into it much, but i do like watching all those machines just buzz around. And i never liked Schumacher.
Nexus
BUMP Start of a new season. Pretty pissed I can't watch half the races 'cos of the new Sky deal, but then I don't have a TV licence so wouldn't be watching them live anyway. This year's lineup of drivers is pretty good - so many former champs - Hamilton, Button, Vettel, Alonso, Michael Schumacher and Kimi. Should be good. I hope Vettel doesn't win, and I want Hamilton to fail again. Ideally, Button and Raikonnen would be dominating everything. The mid-field is pretty exciting too, with Webber, Massa, Rosberg, Di Resta, Hulkenberg, Kobayashi, Perez, Petrov and Glock rolling around, plus Maldonado and the new guys. Not sure if Caterham (formerly Lotus), HRT or Marussia (formerly Virgin) are gonna be any good again.
Thursday Next
First race, some pretty exciting stuff, like Nexus I'm gutted that it's not all on free-to-air, but there you go. Great to see Kimi on form in the race (despite a flat qualifying performance). Sooooo pleased to see Mclarens and Red Bulls actually fighting at the front rather than watching Seb just run away into the sunset. That midfield looks hugely competitive. The last dash to the line was awesome. Hopefully they'll be pushing each other so hard that they'll be catching up to the front runners pretty soon.
