CorgiShinobi
To me, especially given the spread of all the moments with his brother, it finally sunk through to Sasuke what Itachi did for him and everyone in Konoha. Everything else was someone egging on his anger and drive to gain power. I can't imagine there ever being another turning point because we're in the endgame for Naruto. Nothing would compare, let alone a shot of all Four Hokages overlooking Konoha. EDIT: Unless this were Asura's Wrath, then I could assume the planet is going to open up and some ancestral beast of evil will attack the world. Mister Jack
After all the crap he's done, I'll be very displeased if he is instantly forgiven by everyone and lives happily ever after. The most I'm willing to accept is redemption equals death for that guy.
Mal
I had a really long night with Attack on Titan. I'm currently on chapter 37. As of right now, I'm liking it. It has a Claymore vibe but with better writing. The pacing is odd but it gets it point across. The chapters are beefy at about 40 pages each. Now... Titans everywhere! Seriously, what are they? They weigh nothing and can come out of thin air. There are also people that can change to Titans as well as people being Titans and that they are in the walls. Then there is that apparent primordial Titan, inferred from him not knowing about the 3D movement thing. What an odd world. I just hope this series doesn't get too convoluted and long since this Titan business is immensely complicated.
Waldorf and Statler
They'll hopefully start explaining once they go into the basement of the house and investigate what the dad did to the protagonist.
Mal
Caught up. I don't understand why they did it but nice move. I never realize that they do look alike. I got to check to see where they were during the second attack. However, it doesn't explain why they became human and nearly got their shit eaten a few times.Thus... what are they after? They wreck havoc periodically when they could of easily taken out humanity. Something isn't right and I think it got to do with the king.Who the fuck are the nobles and the royal family? Why are there Titans in the fucking wall!? How the hell was they even built? The only way I can compare this to right now is to Greek mythology since that had gods called Titans (The enemy of mankind, so to speak). The Titan gave rise to the Olympian gods (The secondary Titans like Ymir) and perhaps the Titans have discontent among themselves as well...Blah. Why is this once a month? Waldorf and Statler
I think people don't take my title for the show of Medieval Evangelion seriously
Mal
I never watched Evangelion. All I know things are odd in Evangelion and Attack on Titan. If Potato Girl dies, I'll be pissed. Also: The author for sure watches MMA fights and such. Edited April 15, 2013 by MaliciousH
BrainHurtBoy...2
I recently read this series called "Lone Wolf and Cub", which may be the best comic I've ever read. Has anyone else heard of it? I know very little about it, outside of its content. It's... it's *really* fucking good.
Waldorf and Statler
Never heard of it. What's it about? It sounds like a talking animals manga.
BrainHurtBoy...2
It's about a disgraced royal executioner who is forced to become a ronin, and roams the countryside, angry, vengeful, pensive, and philosophical, accompanied by his three-year-old (though he gets older over the course of the manga) child. It conjures a time and place with overwhelming intricacy, care, and majesty. I was moved to tears at several points. It's unbelievably good. It's from the 70's. I'm a big fan of the art, and even if one doesn't enjoy the character designs (which are fairly conservative and straightforward), the visual art is evocative enough to be excused of most other faults. This is the sort of work it's hard to believe a couple of human beings were able to create. It's really something. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Waldorf and Statler
All right. I'll give it a read soon enough. I was looking for something new.
Mal
I took a peek at Lone Wolf and Cub. Massive amount of stuff to read through. I like the art style. Also Titan stuff... ;_;
CorgiShinobi
On the Shonen Jump side, bascially: Naruto: Madara has excitement in his pants. Bleach: Tite Kubo had Urahara give the most needless and convoluted diagnosis. One Piece: The best this week, though nothing amazing other than Luffy being Luffy. Waldorf and Statler
@Malicious on the spoiler tag Is that supposed to be Eren and Annie?
Mal
Rivallie and Petra. A little part of Ravioli died that day when he went back to town after the Female Type (Annie)...

Papirus
This will be random, but here's what I've been reading lately. http://www.batoto.net/read/_/154969/denki-gai-no-honya-san_v3_ch13_by_display-none/2 And the page after that. Only 2 pages but so many things said. 'Tis a classic. Edit: And the conclusion, http://www.batoto.net/read/_/154969/denki-gai-no-honya-san_v3_ch13_by_display-none/26 Until the end of the chapter. Mal
Prepare your nutbladders! NUKODUKE TIME!
Waldorf and Statler
that is the ugliest cat i've ever seen in an anime. As to me with manga I've been holding off a lot of mangas recently. I've just been watching too many anime shows.
Mal
Really took some time to read Nukoduke (8 Chapters in). It is pretty damn cute and I can see why it is popular for those who read it. Yuuya, you should read it! Now I'm going into "It’s Not My Fault That I’m Not Popular!". This one might hit close to home... I try but can't say I can shake who I am... a quite guy with really not much to say. Before I get into a rant about my life story... time to jump in! Mal
I'm nuko-ing Rozen Maiden at the moment. I just got done with the first arc. Now I'm up to the current anime.
Waldorf and Statler
Haven't read a manga in a while. I mean only manga I'm genuinely keeping up with is Silver Spoon. I'd like to say Berserk but he'll never release a new chapter. I really want to start/catch up with Claymore. I was also reading that Maid-sama manga but I think I lost all interest once it began being "these two are dating but all these other guys want to fuck her too". I hate those plots. Only romance manga I really liked was the one where the couple starts dating early on and the rest of the manga is them facing issues within themselves and persona lives. Has anybody here read Vagabond? I keep hearing good stuff but always wondered why it's not an anime if it's that popular Edited August 4, 2013 by Waldorf And Statler
Mal
Vagabond is legendary if rumors are to believed. It also would be a sin to make it into an anime in today's world. We lack the Studio Which was Promised to bring it to life. This isn't some magical girl series. Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me of Vagabond. Nuko-ing it after Rozen Maiden. 35 volumes. Edit: Shit, the series is expensive... $15 per volume. Do the math. Seems like it has three volumes in one. Waldorf and Statler
Hmmm. Guess I'll go ahead and add Vagabond to my must-read list.
