  1. 1. Will you buy third party accessories to save money?

    • Yes, they are usually a better value

There's enough slack on my mouse cord hanging off behind my desk that it always pulls whatever is on my desk straight, so I don't have the problem with it looping up and pushing on things, but it's not heavy enough to resist me pulling it back. It's kind of perfect.

Yeah, mine goes from the keyboard tray down under the desk. I suppose I could get some cable clips to neaten it up but why bother?

Until someone makes a wireless IBM Model M, I have no interest in a wireless keyboard.

As for wireless in my living room, at least USB extension cords are dirt cheap ...

Well I don't know which controller you're referring to since there were two here. The MD1 was okay but the MD2 , the lower one in the image, while really comfortable to hold compared to the first was frankly crap because the keys were far too close and it was pretty hard to master combo moves and things that required the x y and z buttons. It just felt so off. It's how I learnt how to use the controller as a fight stick by using two fingers which worked pretty good even in the PSX era with Tekken 3.

Also on the subject of wired/wireless mice it's easy to have a tidy desk with a wired mouse, just requires some efficient cabling is all :)
