deanb
I prefer tower fans, but that seems to be pretty advanced at least. Even has a "kill koreans" setting.
Mister Jack
When the authorities burst in to arrest Rocket in the middle of a wrestling match, Rocket discovers that an evil lookalike has been going around framing him for multiple murders! Rocket now has to hunt down the imposter and clear his name, but that may be hard to do when a vengeful armada made up of all his jilted ex-girlfriends bands together to hunt him down and exact bloody revenge for all the times he lied to them! Storylines like that are why I originally picked up comics in the first place. Edited June 1, 2017 by Mister Jack
Mal
Half the cost is taken by my work since I needed a safety toe boot. When I went to buy this, another boss covered a new hire $300 for the really quality boots. This one is upper mid range. Pretty damn good boots especially for my wide feet. It might become my daily driver since during my training, my old boots tired me out. My toes doesn't seem to mind the toe box either since it's big and non-metallic. Saturnine Tenshi
Those boots look nice. I always want to pick up some, but never really know what's good. And don't want to make a mistake because they're expensive as fuck.
deanb
I got myself a pair of these I had some bluetooth headphones a while back but the (thankfully tiny) battery decided to explode. My phone 3.5mm jack is a bit crackly so bluetooth sidesteps that. I quite liked the idea of neck strap headphones so there's some support to them when they're not in your ears, but most neck strap ones it's almost like a bloody horse collar they're so huge, whereas this is much smaller which I kinda like. I'm no audiophile so not really looking to have much fancy, just being annoying of late with my current wired headphones only having the left piece working. TheFlyingGerbil
speaking of bluetooth headphones, something that has been driving me mad recently while looking for a home stereo is that loads of them now have bluetooth receivers to play music from your phone, but it is almost impossible to find one with a bluetooth transmitter so you can listen with wireless headphones easily which is stupid considering the popularity of bluetooth headphones. deanb
I imagine it's considered a bit of a niche use case? If you're streaming music from your phone to your stereo then it'll be the same process to stream it to your headphones. Unless you're wanting to blast an LP to your headphones (which a quick look on amazon suggests there are record tables with bluetooth streaming support). Failing that you can get fairly affordable RCA/3.5mm bluetooth transmitters for like £20. Aukey sell one which works both ways for £17 which is quite the steal. Bonus with an add-on like that is can upgrade your existing stuff and being 3.5mm it's pretty dang universal (being the "analog hole" n all that). TheFlyingGerbil
I've seen the transceivers but I wanted to avoid all the extra cables and complications as it was for my Mum. She just wouldn't use that. I was looking for something simple and compact for CDs and radio. She's bought herself a DAB radio now so I've stopped looking but it doesn't do what she wanted. deanb
It'd be no more complicated than plugging in wired headphones, just with the step of turning on the transmitter.
TheFlyingGerbil
My parents don't/can't use the TV in the front room because it has a set top box. Plus she wouldn't want the extra bits lying around.
Mal
Let's say Trigger knows how to put together an artbook. For example: This clear sheet together with the off-focus art makes it look a lot like the ED. The paper and print is really nice as well. toxicitizen
I've been playing through the Metro games lately and I'm enjoying them and the world they're set in so much that I ended up ordering these today. I think it's the first time I actually feel compelled to read novels that a game series is based on. Even with the Witcher series I didn't really feel the need to seek out the books. Hopefully they won't disappoint.
TheMightyEthan
I really liked the setting and atmosphere of the first game, but something about the shooting felt off to me and I couldn't sick with it.
toxicitizen
It's been too long since I played the original release of Metro 2033 for me to remember how the shooting was but the Redux version feels fine to me. They also backported some of the new mechanics and QOL improvements from Last Light to 2033, so it might be worth checking out if you wanna give it another shot. MetalCaveman
I don't remember having any problems with 2033 when I first played it, though the Redux edition was supposed to fix some issues people had with controls and shooting, definitively take a look at those versions if you can. deanb
I recently picked up a dual-DVD of Night Watch and Day Watch for £2, and a poker kit for £7. I am the last of the big spenders.
CorgiShinobi
Recently got myself the Logitech G602. Thought it was time to get a wireless mouse and it's fantastic. It has 11 programmable buttons; the six buttons on the side are shaped right and I like the two next to LMB. I'm using it with Overwatch and what you need to do is get the game profile from the Logitech gaming software. The game itself doesn't recognize all the buttons by default. I also had to make sure the profile stayed locked in game as at first it would eventually revert to to the Default Profile.

I finally had to change the batteries two weeks ago. I love the thing. You've made a great purchase. Have a cookie.
