Strangelove
It was 30 bucks, but I had a 10 dollar gift card.I work at Borders, the store is closing this thursday, so everything is on sale and has been going down steadily. The price had been going down every few weeks, but this past week its been going down almost every day. It went from 139 to 100, then slowly went down until it was 30. So I jumped on the chance. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with it. Its brand new. Ooh, I wonder if they have any of those left at our Borders. It's also closing. They probably don't though. *Edit* - Cars didn't impress me, but it was entertaining enough. I think The Incredibles is the best Pixar movie after Toy Story though. We ran out the day they hit 30 bucks. Ask for the demos they have in the middle of the store, or if they have demos in the back. See if theyll sell them to you. You never know. CorgiShinobi
I haven't stepped into a Hot Topic for years, but when I saw this shirt, I dished out the $20 for it.
Saturnine Tenshi
Oh, hey. My shirt happened to arrive today. Double-shirt-post, ho. Oh, Tyria. You sweet little gal wife.
P4: Gritty Reboot
Double shirt post and almost a double tron post... disc golf season is coming up so I picked this sucker up for $5 at the Disney Store Edited April 16, 2011 by p4warrior
TheMightyEthan
Does that light up? If so I command you to take a picture of it in the dark.
CorgiShinobi
That's the role playing disc. The one that lights up, a.k.a. more expensive disc, is something I personally would never toss in a disc golf game. Might glow in the dark however, though my memory is a bit fuzzy. TheMightyEthan
Ah, I knew they had a nice one that people wouldn't use to actually play with, but I figured even the less-fancy you-can-actually-play-with-it one would have some sort of crappier light-up capability. Mal
Where and when did disk golf come from!?
P4: Gritty Reboot
No light-up functionality unfortunately. It's pretty solid and while obviously not PDGA-approved, I figure I'll keep it in my disc bag and bust it out for a laugh or two on an approach or putt toss. Hot Heart
Some more cheap DVDs - Who Framed Roger Rabbit - Swingers - The Constant Gardener - Taken Was looking to buy some new Vans but the only place (with the cute sales advisor) that sells them were out of my size and they're not available on their website either. Guess I'll have to look elsewhere.

Hot Heart
Over here, all sorts of people wear those sorts of shoes. That and we don't actually have hipsters. Forgot to mention I purchased The Presidents of the United States of America's debut album. I've 'owned' it for years via a friend sending it to me, but saw it for cheap and, since it's such a great album, decided to grab it. And I've ordered one of these: Also, I guess I should mention some birthday gifts I got a week back: Curb Your Enthusiasm: Season 7 Kick-Ass CSI: Season 1, Part 2 (in case I want to start doing some Hor-Rate-io stuff for those) Edited May 2, 2011 by Hot Heart
Battra92
Sure, they are preorders but two coupons on these on Amazon made these worth getting. Well, I only wanted Dumbo but my fiancee really wants Lion King. So the first is mine, the second is hers. I got one of these for a possible project but if not, I'll give it to my brother or my mom. I already have an iPod Video from 2006 that still works great so I'm in no hurry to get a new one.

Battra92
Lion king on bluray? Fucking finally. I dont usually buy blurays on the first day, but i love the lion king. Just as an FYI, Amazon has an $8 off coupon if you buy Lion King and another title (in my case Dumbo) plus Dumbo itself had a coupon. Otherwise if you watch the Blu-Ray.com forums there will most likely be a Disney Movie Rewards coupon you can print out. "Never pay full price for a Disney Blu," I say. CorgiShinobi
I always feel weird buying classic Disney films on Blu-ray. Like, I know I already "have" them, via childhood, but I don't own them. The Lion King though, I'm thinking I'll be able to get past it simply because of how much I enjoy the film. Sure it messed me up for two days when I was 5 years-old, what with the concept of a dying father, but it's a classic!
Strangelove
I bought 4 disc Up on bluray from Borders for 17 dollars. Everything is overpriced there, but i had a 50% off coupon and 5 borders bucks plus the 10% off i get from the brplus membership that all employees get for free. TheMightyEthan
Everything is overpriced there Yeah, no kidding. I went to the Borders clearance sale here, and even when the blurays were 50% off they were STILL ludicrously overpriced.
Strangelove
Yeah, the only things that are reasonably priced there are books, well after my employee discount. It beats amazon, so thats good enough for me. Its weird, but b&n has the same shitty prices on dvds and blurays. Who would buy a disney bluray for 46 dollars? Youve got to be fucking insane. I only buy from Borders and B&N with coupons. Recently B&N had a 50% off coupon that I printed out several copies of and using my B&N membership got some good deals on stuff. I used to buy a lot from Borders but lately they're just shit too. Barnes and Noble wins many hearts over with their semi-annual Criterion sales. staySICK
The wife joined Disney Movie Club a few months ago, so The Lion King should be the one we buy from them that fulfills our obligation, I think. The blu rays are a bit pricey from them, comparable to best buy non-sale price, but the 6 free or whatever we got initially balances out the prices, imo. Waiting on our Incredibles blu-ray to show up currently. also;
