Battra92
More retail therapy for me ... I'm going to be too busy to watch most of these but hopefully I'll find time soon.
BrainHurtBoy...2
Awakening of Iris is the best Gamera film. Seriously, that is a great movie. Watch it ASAP.
Battra92
Awakening of Iris is the best Gamera film. Seriously, that is a great movie. Watch it ASAP. Oh I already own the Japanese DVD and the US DVD. If I could find the Japanese LD I'd get that too for the music video. However, the best Gamera film (in my opinion) is Gamera vs Barugon. I much prefer the original Gamera films.
CorgiShinobi
http://www.converse.com/#/products/Shoes/SportAuthentics/125493C I've been carefully looking through shoes and this pair is the one I have chosen! My previous Converse shoes were amazing, so it'll be sad when I toss them out next week. They've served me well these last two years, but when the rubber has become almost flat, it's not very comfortable (or safe at work). They look like they have more padding than the usual Chuck Taylors.

Battra92
Hey, no one's judging you. Also, if I had the money and space I'd buy up a shit-ton of the Borders shelves.
Strangelove
They sell me any fixture I want for 5 dollars. I got a really nice table and a printer for 5 bucks each. I dont have space for any bookshelves though. I also have Twin Peaks and Fantasia and Alice in Wonderland on bluray stashed. Im going to wait till theyre at least 80 percent off to buy those. Battra92
Great Blu! Fantasia 2000 is highly underrated. On a side note, what's the table you got?
Strangelove
Its the only thing I had space for in my room.
Battra92
If it was one of those tables that they had the new releases of paperbacks and stuff or the table with all the little kiosks I'd be insanely jealous. Still, $5 for that table is pretty nice. I'm going to miss Borders.
CorgiShinobi
X-Men First Class I have never seen it, but if so many people can gush over an X-Men film, it should be rather amazing.
「Advent Chaos」
Yeah, I stash stuff at my store. Were going out of business and fuck you if you dont like it. I stashed a bunch of other stuff too. Im getting that shit for cheap cus I aint gonna have a job soon! Asshole... So BOSS. I'd say you're doing the right thing, I know I would too. You can proudly say you got the most out of your job, even when it was dying, yes I am rather jelly right now.
CorgiShinobi
It's not necessarily the same, but as a kid I would hide games amongst the crap titles or other items nearby to "secure" a copy for myself later on. If the employees did their job, it wouldn't work. Needless to say it worked most of the time. Last time I did that was almost two years ago during Best Buy's holiday sales. I had not sold my textbooks back to the bookstore yet, so I tried to hide Arkham Asylum. Still, a part of me expected it would be gone the next day, which it was considering how frequent customers were tearing through store shelves. Yantelope
I love the prequels and don't care about Lucas changing things. B)
CorgiShinobi
I'm only getting the Original Trilogy. I don't absolutely hate the prequels, but they (especially Revenge of the Sith) leave much to be desired. Oh, and most of the acting is AWFUL! Even with the changes in the Blu-ray, I think I can handle them over the Full Screen DVD box set circa 2004. At least the Blu-ray is correcting the problems from that edition. Battra92
My brother wants to know why they keep releasing new versions of Star Wars when he has the original trilogy on Selectavision (CED)? And yes, he really does own it.
Strangelove
I got Twin Peaks boxset, Freaks And Geeks boxset, Blair Witch Bluray(wut?), Cyrus dvd, Piranha dvd, Tim and Eric seasons 1 dvd, Futurama Into the Wild Green Yonder dvd, and a Seattles Best Thermos for free. One of my managers let me take them last week. Since I dotn work for the company because it no longer exists, I dont care for hiding it. During the liquidation, one of my other managers would let me rearrange price stickers on stuff so I could get it for bargain prices with the discount on top of it. I got lots of shit that way too. I guess thats not a purchase, but I wanted to gloat.
Battra92
You know what the dumbest thing is? I will miss Borders because of the Piccadilly notebooks. Seriously they were just as good as the Moleskines (better paper IMO) and were $4 instead of $12 bullshit that the Moleskines cost. Ugh! deanb
Microsoft Sidewinder X4 I checked back n it had gone down to £25, so that made it £5, so I splashed out a bit on delivery (normally go free) Also bought an iron: And I'm about to go n get a chopping board. (and rent, which seems I fail at setting stuff up on the internet cos the rang today to kindly tell me I've not paid the past 2 months. So for the last 2 months I thought my standing order or whatever it was has been working.)
Hot Heart
Forgot to add that I grabbed Harry Brown on DVD the other day. It was only £3 and I appear to have a weird fascination with those vigilante sort of films.
