Valkyria Chronicle Design Archive.JPG

Valkyria Chronicles Design Archive. As you can see it's pretty big! It's filled with a lot of content, you can see the loving crafting detail they gave to character designs and lots of rejected concepts which are pretty neat to look at. Kind of makes you wonder, what the hell happened in Valkyria Chronicles 2? Ok so I haven't played it, but from what I've seen it feels completely different (style-wise). I'm just rambling now though, this artbook is pretty awesome, for $23 I'd say it was worth it.

Looking forward to Shigenori Soejima's Artworks and Persona 3 & 4 Design Archives. Udon entertainment books, keep it up!

I remember when that was first published. Where did you get it because when it was first out, that thing was expensive! Well, at least I remember that way, otherwise I would have it in my possession now.

The first release was the japanese version and sellers saw fit to charge a buttload of money for an export, it's available on Amazon now and in English!

Did some more Christmas shopping. This time, for another sister who, once again, only listed DVDs and CDs. I went a little off-track with half of the choices but I know she'll like them, and it's nice to have surprises:

- Submarine on DVD

- Waking The Dead: Series 2

- The Science Of Sleep (she likes Gael Garcia Bernal, and I think she'd like this)

- Morning Glory (a film with Rachel McAdams, Diane Keaton and Harrison Ford, from the writer of Devil Wears Prada. She'll like this)

You didnt pay retail price for Office 2010, right?

Yeah, I hope you got some sort of student or work discount. I could buy a copy of Office 2010 through work for $20 but my copy of 2003 does everything I need to do and my wife was more than satisfied with Lotus Symphony so her PC is office free.

Then again, for basic home use, Full MSOffice is overkill.

Finished off my Christmas shopping today, getting something for my youngest sister.

It seems the cheap Gilmore Girls seasons had sold out (not surprised) but I got her Red Dwarf: Series 1-4 instead because she just wanted 'things to watch' and I know she likes that (and probably would not expect it).

I got myself The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo today. I've heard good things. I also got my sister a gift voucher. Much better than trying to decide what to get her. I wish I got more gift vouchers when I was younger. Stupid deodrant packs. WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY?!

*ahem*

Bah humbug.
