So far:

- The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (airplanes and books, man)

- T-shirt (for mother)

- Golf Tees (for father)

- LCD Digi-Piggy Bank (for sister)

That all seems cheap, but today I'll be making two big purchases for my sister and brother-in-law. Right now I'm waiting to see if my bro-law hasn't already bought my sister Dance Central 2 (Amazon, $24.99). For him, thinking of getting the complete Samurai Champloo series on either DVD or Blu-ray. I already got myself the series a while ago, but I don't know how my he feels about DVD and Blu-ray.

Not to seem lame either, but my father is REALLY hard to shop for. I don't mean in a "particular taste" style, but a "he wants it, he buys it" kind of fashion. He has money, so he's not the type to dream of purchasing something other than a retirement luxury item, i.e. a motorcycle.

To contrast, my mother doesn't ask for much. If she ever wants anything, it's for work and her career happens to be teaching kindergarten.

For reference: This person is an amazing designer/illustrator/geek... basically, the perfect person to make t-shirts for a geek like me!

No, really, she recently has made two amazing "The Legend of Zelda" design, a equally awesome "Regular Show" design, and a "Little Shop of Horror" design for Child's Play. If you happen to like video games, cartoon series, or certain television shows and movies (Dr. Who and Firefly anyone?), then check her out!

Oh, and especially if you happen to love Corgis too!

So yeah, check out her stuff... DO IT!

They're metal...ish. One of the chicks from LC sang with Megadeth on a remake of A Tout Le Monde back on their 2007 album, so I assume there is a relationship there. I'm not a huge fan of Volbeat or Lacuna Coil, but I'm glad there's some variety as opposed to the typical metal show with 6 metalcore bands.

I've been debating about whether to get the 2D or 3D Toy Story trilogy. I'm leaning toward 3D because if I ever want to watch it in 2D my TV lets me just turn off the 3D effect (basically it only displays the right eye rather than both eyes).
