Hot Heart
Whoops. Forgot to mention that I grabbed some DVDs for myself because they were cheap. Nearly grabbed The Frighteners on BD but decided I should curb my spending. - Uncle Buck - Cold Souls - I Love You, Phillip Morris - Batman Returns (I wanted a christmassy film )

CorgiShinobi
So far: - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (airplanes and books, man) - T-shirt (for mother) - Golf Tees (for father) - LCD Digi-Piggy Bank (for sister) That all seems cheap, but today I'll be making two big purchases for my sister and brother-in-law. Right now I'm waiting to see if my bro-law hasn't already bought my sister Dance Central 2 (Amazon, $24.99). For him, thinking of getting the complete Samurai Champloo series on either DVD or Blu-ray. I already got myself the series a while ago, but I don't know how my he feels about DVD and Blu-ray. Not to seem lame either, but my father is REALLY hard to shop for. I don't mean in a "particular taste" style, but a "he wants it, he buys it" kind of fashion. He has money, so he's not the type to dream of purchasing something other than a retirement luxury item, i.e. a motorcycle. To contrast, my mother doesn't ask for much. If she ever wants anything, it's for work and her career happens to be teaching kindergarten. For reference: This person is an amazing designer/illustrator/geek... basically, the perfect person to make t-shirts for a geek like me! http://www.redbubble.com/people/misskari No, really, she recently has made two amazing "The Legend of Zelda" design, a equally awesome "Regular Show" design, and a "Little Shop of Horror" design for Child's Play. If you happen to like video games, cartoon series, or certain television shows and movies (Dr. Who and Firefly anyone?), then check her out! Oh, and especially if you happen to love Corgis too! http://www.redbubble.com/people/misskari/works/6422195-corgi-cluster So yeah, check out her stuff... DO IT! http://karifry.com/

Battra92
I mentioned this on Twitter yesterday, here it is in action: My Moist von Lipwig santa hat. Either that wallpaper goes or I do! It also took me a second to figure out what that thing near the floor was. It looked like you glued a pill bottle to the skirting board

deanb
I think the Amazon Market needs to come over before the physical Fire does. There's no content network over here to support the Fire.
Kovach_
Broke my strainer tea cup some time ago, so i got me a new one. I can drink real tea again! Doesn't look like this, but i can't find the pic online, and i'm lazy to take a pic with my phone, so here's a panda.
Battra92
Yeccchhhh! Tea is gross! Anyway, I picked this up since I didn't get it for Christmas. Unfortunately it was out of stock so I hope to get it sooner rather than later ...

Kovach_
What the hell is Lacuna Coil doing with Megadeth and Motorhead @_@
P4: Gritty Reboot
They're metal...ish. One of the chicks from LC sang with Megadeth on a remake of A Tout Le Monde back on their 2007 album, so I assume there is a relationship there. I'm not a huge fan of Volbeat or Lacuna Coil, but I'm glad there's some variety as opposed to the typical metal show with 6 metalcore bands. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xn01nSG4cvU&ob=av2n
Hot Heart
Bought the Toy Story trilogy on Blu-Ray because it was £14. Bargain.
Battra92
Two tickets to see this awesome show! I'll have to find something for them to sign as apparently after the show they will sign just about anything (MST3K or Cinematic Titanic)
TheMightyEthan
I've been debating about whether to get the 2D or 3D Toy Story trilogy. I'm leaning toward 3D because if I ever want to watch it in 2D my TV lets me just turn off the 3D effect (basically it only displays the right eye rather than both eyes). Battra92
It's three years shy of its hundredth birthday and it's still the most controversial film ever made. The fact that it still stirs emotions 97 years later shows the incredible power of film as a medium. More DW Griffith although a later work. Because, FUCK YEAH!!! Godzilla in my Criterion?
