Chronixal
http://www.uk.onkyo....r609-35517.html A nice upgrade from the old Yahama model. The upscaling is nice, makes Sonic Colours look very smooth and crisp. I bought that one not too long ago, and I really like it. I don't think I've used the upscaling feature yet. Interesting, you might be able to help me. Do you bother with the dynamic equalizer? I left it on after the speaker setup but I found it heavily muted the fronts and centre and amped the rears so much I could barely hear any speech in games. Turned it off and everything seems more equal but all the speaks have gone quieter. It's weird.
TheMightyEthan
There are a couple of different things that affect that, but I use the automatic volume leveling on Moderate.

Yantelope V2
I bought this through amazon. It's $330 on MLB.com but an amazon seller had it for $50. I'm skeptical that I'll actually get the right thing but he told me it was a size 50 (L) and the real thing so I guess we'll see.
TheMightyEthan
They seriously charge $330 for a copy of player's jersey? I just... I can't... Really?
Faiblesse Des Sens
Why would you want the jersey? To role play as the person?
Yantelope V2
They seriously charge $330 for a copy of player's jersey? I just... I can't... Really? Yes' it's quite nuts what an authentic "on-field" style jersey costs. I think it's mostly inflated because all you have to do is get it signed and it sells for about the same. The replica jerseys don't have the patches on the arms and are made out of a cheeper material and sell for about $100 but I've seen them as cheap as $75. That still seems quite expensive to me. Why would you want the jersey? To role play as the person? To wear to the game of course. Playing dress up is fun! For the record, a lot of people just get the t-shirt that looks like the jersey but those are still $30 which is pretty costly for a T-shirt. MLB gear is the most expensive gear of all for some reason. Much more expensive even than NFL stuff. Mal
I just got this bike. Brand spanking new. Not going to tell my parents... yet. The rack on the back is from my old bike, a crappy mountain bike. I was yearning for better performance and stuff so I jumped. There was also a $50 discount so that helps a ton. Battra92
Very nice, congrats. I remember being somewhat terrified by signing a mountain of paperwork during closing. Oh no, you misunderstand. I just bought the picture. In all seriousness, yeah. It was pretty daunting faxing 40 pages to the bank. In true manliness, I hope to be able to get a grill as there's a nice yard (about an acre) which will be good for cookouts and stuff. It's no mansion by any means but I'm sure the lady and I can make it home.
TheMightyEthan
I grilled out for the first time last night (first time doing it myself I mean), on one of those miniature Weber grills, and yeah, I felt pretty manly.
Yantelope V2
Nice, I still have a mini weber grill and those things are awesome. I upgraded recently to a bigger grill though for when people come over.
TheRevanchist
A grill is a good investment for company and friends and your own use. It's about the heat distribution and the ability to slow cook/smoke your meat. The problem with committing to one grill is that different grills are great for different jobs. I have a gas multi-burner, but I have a hard time getting in smokey flavor, a harder time smoking, and the heat retention isn't that great. However, it's great for dogs, sausage, and burgers, which is what I do 60% of the time.
TheMightyEthan
@Yant: Yeah, this is really more like something you'd tailgate with. If I end up using it much I probably will upgrade to a bigger one. *Edit* - Charcoal > gas for everything. Battra92
*Edit* - Charcoal > gas for everything. I dunno, I like the ease of gas grilling. Plus can you do THIS with a *charcoal* grill? Edited April 2, 2012 by Battra92

Yantelope V2
Charcoal is more of a pain but the flavor is so worth it. Mostly I grill fajitas or steaks> I do burgers some but as charcoal is more work I'm often to lazy to fire up the grill for a couple of burgers. I am definitely way too lazy to smoke a brisket no matter how delicious. I usually just swing over to spring creek barbecue for that. Man that's some good stuff. Luftwaffles
Picked this up for PS3 and PC on the same monitor shenanigans. Just allows me to select which input I want relatively easily, as I didn't realize my monitor was DVI/VGA before rather than DVI/DVI. Also, was about 100 dollars cheaper than any other boxes I found. Yaaay Monoprice.
