Johnny
I actually liked the flipping phones because they were impossible to accidentally unlock and dial with.

Battra92
- Bringing Up Baby GREAT movie! I can't give you anything but love ... Baby! Not you. - It. Not see a flip phone for years. My mother just had me replace her phone and her requirement was that it HAD to be a flip phone. There are quite a few still out there but they just aren't in big demand. I got this as well today. Store didn't order that many copies, and I know there had to have been other buyers today as I got one of four Blu-ray copies. Yeah, I got mine from Amazon. The film was fantastic but Disney seemed not to want to market it for whatever reason. :-/
Hot Heart
Cary Grant is awesome. I keep checking to see if Arsenic and Old Lace or His Girl Friday are in that cheap 'sweet spot', but they never seem to be.
Strangelove
$6.70 for a "like new" copy off Amazon. Now I just need seasons 8 & 9 so I can end this silly game.
Thorgi Duke of Frisbee
I actually ordered them before they went out of stock this time! Hooray!
TheRevanchist
Did you get them at Amazon? They have the cards for $25 today. 6 left in stock right now.

Battra92
Plus some polyurethane and more rollers. Also lots of light switch and outlet covers ... I swear those things shatter if you just look at them wrong. I've also bought those wonderful necessities of life like garbage cans, paper towels etc.
TheMightyEthan
Our house had these terrible like brass lightswitch and outlet plates, so I bought indestructible beige nylon replacements.

Actual brass or like a foil coating thing? At least the former has some value but the latter ... not even worth painting! At least replacements are only about a quarter or so each. TheMightyEthan
I'm not sure exactly what they're made of. They don't seem like metal. Why I came in here: Figured since we cancelled our cable I'd like to at least be able to get local channels when there's severe weather.
Battra92
I actually prefer the local channels thanks to OTA HD. Regular old PBS, ABC etc stink but channels like Create, RetroTV etc. are fantastic!
TheMightyEthan
See, the only local OTA channels we have are ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX.
deanb
Figured since we cancelled our cable I'd like to at least be able to get local channels when there's severe weather. Weather and aerials work differently in the US? Here in the UK if you've got sever weather then you've got static (or more likely with digital n new TVs; blue screens n pixelation). Cables that run under the ground tend to be the ones least effected.
TheMightyEthan
Yeah cable's better than an antenna for reception during bad weather, but if I don't have cable or an antenna then I have no TV at all, and since we cancelled our cable subscription I got an antenna so I can at least get something. The only reason I care about having TV is so that when there are tornadoes and such I can keep track of it. Yeah reception's going to be worse during a storm, but it doesn't usually go out altogether.
P4: Gritty Reboot
Picked up a mid-range disc to try & tackle Chavez Ridge disc golf course tomorrow. Supposed to have a nice little view of downtown LA and Dodger Stadium. We shall see.
Alex Heat
Got a new AC adapter for my brother's Wii (since I soft modded it to run emulators because he really wanted to play again and I want my nieces and nephews to appreciate video games dammit) and a headset for his 360 (since he constantly wants to borrow mine) for his birthday. He's going to have to get his own damn classic controller for the Wii though. Grabbed it for my best friend for his birthday since he wanted to try it out. Because the ones that came with the thing appear to have shit a brick.

Strangelove
Ive been wanting that hoodie, but shipping at the Bioware store is ridiculous.
TheMightyEthan
Yeah, me too. I'd finally justified the price to myself, and then I found out that shipping was like another $15-20 and said screw it.
TCP
Yeah shipping was expensive but the hoodie was on clearance for like, 40 bucks or something, so it ended up being pretty reasonable.
Hot Heart
Maybe it's different for other people but checking just now, it appears to be about $8.38 for North America. Which sounds reasonable enough to me.
Strangelove
Maybe its just me and how cheap I am, but I hardly if ever pay more than $3 in shipping. Most often than not I get free shipping. It's what Ive gotten used to.
