Faiblesse Des Sens
I had one class with a textbook that wasn't even bound at all, we had to buy a 3-ring notebook to put it in, but I was okay with it because it meant it only cost us $5 at the university print shop. Pretty sure the one book in college I had to get like that was $80 instead of $140.
TheMightyEthan
Actually I think mine was like $11, not $5. Still cheap enough to be totally worth it though.
Alex Heat
Sure is weird to suddenly be actively reading after years and years of partaking in video games most of the time.
Hot Heart
"Think Buffy...starring Philip Marlowe" I may have to look into reading that... Mainly because of the second part though.
TheRevanchist
Got this last night. I needed a new stylus anyway, so go big or go home.
P4: Gritty Reboot
Bought a co-op board game (think Pandemic lite edition) for $15. Bought this puppy for my dad for father's day ($45 stinkin smackeroos):
TheMightyEthan
Bought this puppy for my dad for father's day ($45 stinkin smackeroos): Great game. My mom really likes it. Also, played The Resistance with my wife, sisters and parents Wednesday night, everyone really enjoyed it. We're going to try it again on Sunday with the extended family so we can see if it's different with 10 people (after a few games we got too good at reading each other with just six). Strangelove
$11.70. I cant get seasons 8, 9, or 10 for less than $10 on Amazon like I did with the rest of them. Oh well.
Thorgi Duke of Frisbee
Bought a Vita, 16GB memory stick and Gravity Rush on Thursday. My enormous GameStop credit + the $50 gift card deal sure came in handy...

My dad likes Monopoly and other card/board games, so I figured Catan might be a good fit. Also checked out The Resistance and it looks awesome. MasterDex
I bought The Chronicles of The Black Company omnibus as well as The Man from Nowhere on bluray the other day. If you haven't checked out either of these, I suggest you do. They're both awesome.

deanb
If you're having to buy a stand for your items you probably have too much. See: Shoes.
TheFlyingGerbil
How many pairs of shoes should we own and how should we store them?
Hot Heart
You can never have too many guitars! Unless it brings you to financial ruin or you run out of space or...what was I saying? People will tell you that you can never have too many shoes but those things must wear out at some point. That's science. Unless you buy so many that each pair's total wear-time is fairly minimal so as to...what was I saying?
TCP
I have a relatively modest guitar collection compared to some of the gentlemen on The Gear Page. For now, that is.
Battra92
How many pairs of shoes should we own and how should we store them? If you're a man: three. One for dress, one pair of sneakers and one pair of boots. You can have additional shoes only if they have a specific use (e.g. cleats for playing golf)
TCP
So would owning a pair of shoes just because they make me feel man-pretty count as a specific use??
P4: Gritty Reboot
$35 on Amazon. I blame Johnny for getting me into board gaming.

Luftwaffles
edit 2: no, before you ask I'm not going raving in the 90s. I was totally going to make a comment along those lines. Looks nice, though. Definitely fits with that shirt.
