CorgiShinobi
Back in December, I only treated myself to a Tron: Legacy figure: Quorra. Obviously it's a 4" figure, but it was only $9.00 total. One flaw was the left arm didn't fully articulate, and as such broke! Nothing brush-on super glue can't fix, but now the arm is gimped as it can't articulate at all in the one joint. Dev_Revenge
Some guy on another forum said his Sam Flynn came with two left arms lol. The QC on the 4" guys is all over the place. The light shines through the paint in some places. Some of the Sam Flynn heads look f'ed up. Arms and heads are snapping off, and like you said, they are $9-$10 apiece. The 4" line is pretty disappointing, the discs can't even snap on the backs! For people's money, the 8" line is really where it's at. Sam and Clu are great, and there is Rinzler and Black Guard too. Much better articulation and weight to the figures, the discs actually snap on the back, they are all made of plastic and no crappy paint jobs. The 12" guys are supposed to be really nice too but I haven't gotten mine yet, those guys have diecast weapons. Can't wait for diecast discs for Sam and Clu! edit: That's why none of my 4" figures are open yet. I'm going to open a set but I'm trying to make sure I get a good set first. Some of my figures are going back to the store, I wasn't aware of the QC issues at first. In some of the last pics you can see the detail on the black guard and how the paint doesn't come all the way up to the light, it looks terrible when lit up. Battra92
Sold some more items on Amazon and put the money towards stuff I wanted. I'm either awesome or a total loser.

Battra92
Ahahaha! Yeah, well I do like my silent movies so if one is fully restored on Blu, I pick it up. FWIW, the Blu is actually a pretty good buy for film buffs.
Saturnine Tenshi
She arrived today, wearing an elegant gown of packing paper and tissue. The diminutive girl curtsied when we met, blushed an enchanting rose as I tenderly stripped away her gossamer packaging. Thus began our feverish foxtrot. My maiden and I. Saturnine Tenshi
I love the contrast between her and the rubble. It looks and feels rough while she's the opposite.

TheMightyEthan
Finally got my fiancee to watch Firefly with me, and she really likes it, so I got this so we can finish it up after we get through the series.
Hot Heart
That cover's way better than the original...not that it could get worse.
TheMightyEthan
lol, I didn't think the original cover was that bad But then I found the UK version, and yeah, it's pretty much the worst cover ever
Hot Heart
It's hilariously bad. Your original image is not working but, regardless, why would someone think to change it from that for the UK release?! TheMightyEthan
Fixed, maybe. The more I look at the original US one though, the worse it gets. Why the hell are Mal and Zoe apparently leading an army? The unification war is only briefly mentioned in the movie. And I'm not convinced that girl who's presumably River is even Summer Glau. I'm glad the bluray one is that cool grey cover.

I'm glad the bluray one is that cool grey cover. Epic Space Battles! Armies! Just two of the things you won't see much of in this film! At least it isn't spoilerific I guess... Also, very glad that special edition artwork tends to veer away from Orange/Blue-itis.
deanb
Paxton used to show off his Revoltech stuff, always been interested in having a look at them. Don't even know how much they'd be, but they look pretty cool.

Hot Heart
Grabbed this. Partly because of nostalgia, partly because it was £4 for 20 episodes.
Battra92
My fiancée got that set for her birthday and we watched a few together. The show did not age as well as Ducktales and Ducktales didn't even age all that well either.
CorgiShinobi
Finally, I got it and only because of my $5 gift certificate! As for Disney Afternoon cartoons, the only one I possess is Darkwing Duck Vol. 1. It's good, but I'm also an adult so I can't revert to the simpleness of a child to really appreciate the humor. I think the only thing I can laugh at still are the Steven Spielberg cartoons (Freakazoid, Animaniacs, and Pinky & The Brain). EDIT: Oh, and there's Tiny Toon Adventures, but I've already stepped into that time machine. Let me tell you, sometimes the past is better left where it is, because the nostalgia you might have could be tarnished by early 90's lingo. Battra92
Well thanks to Borders.com being utter rubbish I canceled my order of The Complete Metropolis and instead, took advantage of Barnes & Noble's Buy 2 get 1 free sale.
