I can guarantee you that he will have a new armor come Halo 5. Also, I regret that I didn't jump on the $45 deal on Newegg a while back. I sort of want to play the game. From what I have seen, its not mind blowning but it should be fun and it can be hard. Then again it could be that the streamer just sucked. As for the second comment, I've heard from a couple sources that it feels a little harder on Heroic than past games have. @Dean: I hadn't thought about the fact that they could intentionally have her being showing her age, given that her descent into rampancy is a major element of this game. I never really loved the games in singleplayer but sort of stuck with ODST and Reach because I had no choice (not that they were bad). This sounds a little more engaging, even for singleplayer. I'm really looking forward to Spartan ops though. I'm definitely a singleplayer/coop player, so more content for that style is greatly appreciated. I meant that playing the campaign solo never really interested me, but I absolutely love it in co-op. Many happy memories of working through Halo 1 and 2 on legendary, sat right next to my friend. I actually fell in love with Halo 3's multiplayer rather quickly, considering I was never really into online shooters before. Reach changed everything and ruined it. Reach just had some really terrible maps (due to pulling double duty as campaign ones), and the equipment made it too chaotic for my liking. Loved it in co-op though. It was fine, but I thought but 1 and 3 were superior in both campaign and multi. My copy of Halo 4 has shipped. I expect delivery in approximately 25 hours. No actual story spoilers, but tagged anyway because it still gives away stuff about the game. Reveal hidden contents - Level 1 - Gorgeous. Just, wow. Why the hell did the redesign all the enemies and the weapons (at least the BR)? Especially the Jackals. They look like retarded dinosaurs now. And the grunts look like Krogans with dwarfism. BR - Nice. More like the DMR, which I always liked better, though weird choice since that's in here too. - Level 2 - Like the SAW, though visually it looks more like something from Mass Effect. Warthog - Sounds awful, like a weed eater. Also the steering's too touchy, it's too fast, and the suspension's too tight. Suspension is by far the worst. Situational awareness doesn't feel as good, but not sure if that's me or the game. Overall visual look is very Halo, even moreso that Halo 2. Mostly the colors I think. Forerunner structures are so ROUND. Like dwarven ruins are often portrayed, lots of large "detail" work. I think I'm beginning to "get" the look they were going for with the redesigned enemies and environments. GETTING SHOT DOESN'T KNOCK YOU OUT OF SCOPE! Not enough indication when getting shot with a needler. Twice I've been blown up without realizing I'd been shot that much. I actually like Cortana's new design a lot more than I did from that picture. - Level 3 - Lightrifle is my new favorite weapon. - Level 4 - GORGEOUS! The tank sounds like a Ghost for some reason... Friendly AI keeps driving ahead (in Warthog while I'm in tank) which takes some of the fun out of it cause they kill stuff too fast. Also they just got themselves killed that way. Tank seems to do more damage, which is good because I didn't think it did enough damage in the recent games. Mantis is AWESOME. - Level 5 - Gunner AI is retarded, they always shoot at infantry instead of enemy Ghosts. Checkpoint system doesn't seem the same. I know it reads like primarily criticism, but overall I'm very impressed. For all my nitpicks, they managed to capture the feel of Halo, and I'm really enjoying it. If I didn't already know, I never would have called that it was made by a different team. The indications of being shot while in scope are pretty much the same as being shot not in scope. It's just the Needler that it's hard to realize you're being shot by. Started the game that way, and fittingly ended it that way. Now I have my Mk. VI armor and Legendary visor. I am happy. I'm going to spoil the legendary ending to the epilogue and the ending to the game. Still, I'm tired and my information about the story may be spotty at best. Reveal hidden contents That ending speech, from what I understand, it seems to come from just after the Human-Forerunner War, before the Forerunners devolved the ancient humans. Still, I don't quite get the Didact, if this is the same one from the novels and the one mentioned from Halo 3. If he can so slaughter humans, what the hell held him back from doing what was necessary to stop the Flood (The Halo rings instead of shield worlds like Requiem)? Anyways, I am going to assume he survived else I wouldn't know who Chief is going to fight in Halo 5. Perhaps he is more like the Promethean now. Speaking of Prometheans, the way they died is kind of weird. They look like they are digitizing. Kind of makes me think that they're sort of tier 1/0. (I think this what the Didact tried to bring the Forerunner into so they could be immune to the Flood.) Back onto Halo 4... Cortana is a splitting image of Dr. Halsey. The Chief response is appropriate. Hell, its really nice to hear and see some emotion from him. And yeah, he should be sort of pissed. Look at how the former commander of the Infinity treated him. I feel that how most people would treat him: As a tool, a machine. Living versus machines time... I have a bad feeling that the final ending is going to tear jerky. I believe that's made clear in the Terminal videos. So ordinarily he's very much "uphold the Mantle, protect all life", which is why he's opposed to using the Halo array, but humanity is the exception because he blames them for destroying his people and threatening all life in the galaxy.
