FMW Posted March 24, 2012 Report Share Posted March 24, 2012 Hey, Nintendo made a new game! And by that I don't just mean that they released a new software cartridge, they do that all the time. I mean they made an entirely new video game without building on any design foundations laid by previous franchise installments. Kid Icarus is not iterative of anything else in Nintendo's catalog, and in some ways I'm not sure it's iterative of anything at all. Which is exciting! I bought Kid Icarus today. Did anybody else? How are you doing? Are you also wasting all your hearts making difficulty wagers you can't live up to? Have you tried multiplayer? What have you found the most success with? Right now I'm rocking a giant electric club that kills RIDICULOUSLY quickly if I can get in, and I'm using a rocket power to help with the getting in part. I can still be effectively zoned out 1 on 1... but multiplayer is chaotic enough that someone trying to zone me out almost never has enough time to finish me off before we're interrupted.
