Mister Jack
Plus, it's the most immature assumption you can leap to, and Korra isn't exactly a wise sage.
Waldorf and Statler
The way I see it It wasn't that much of a leap. At her age I would have come to the same conclusion seeing that: A. Their parents knew each other and they're around the same age. B. She was told Tenzin's wife stole her from another woman C. Lin seems to always be pissed when near Tenzin. Once she was told that she wasn't pissed against the Avatar, and given her limited data and her tendency to do outbursts, she came to the same conclusion all the viewers did with the same info. Is it realistic? Not necessarily either ways. It CAN happen in real life but I would've assumed they're fighting due to moral codes or something, but it's not exactly the most political show ever. CorgiShinobi
In the end, the point of the scene was to reveal that bit of history, especially when the circumstances are fresh in our minds from the last episode, but it reminds me of when we were introduced to Lin. "Beifong? You're Toph's daughter!" To me, that was completely for the viewer's benefit rather than a revelation to Korra. Korra being correct with her assumption is the same, and like what you said W&S. It crossed my mind, but with Lin being the Police Chief and Tenzin being a political representative, there could have been many other "grudges" Lin had. EDIT: I don't mean to fixate on this, but it with how fast it went it was kinda an odd bit. "Oh I know.../What how did you?!" TheMightyEthan
Maybe the Wolfbats paid off not just the refs but whoever's in charge of the bending league, so that even though most people would completely not be okay with it they still won't have their title taken away. Waldorf and Statler
All I know is that not even in soccer has there been such blatant corruption.
CorgiShinobi
I'm surprised anyone could be fans of the Wolfbats now. What defense could you have for a team like that? Fire Ferret Fan: That was a really cheap move the Wolfbats used, putting chucks of earth into water strikes. Wolfbat Fan: You're just jealous of their cool entrance! Mister Jack
Maybe you-know-who was right about that much.
Waldorf and Statler
After the way the episode ended, I don't think the sports and next year's tournament is anywhere near their mind lol
CorgiShinobi
I just mean that now that we've seen how they played, it befuddles how the team even had fans. Sure they could still be in the tournament, they saw through to that with their "unique" method, but I guess it's like what you-know-who said for once. TheMightyEthan
The earth bending matches were set up more like pro-wrestling though, whereas pro-bending (despite the similar name) is supposed to be an actual competitive team sport, like football. Also, do heels really have fans?
Mister Jack
Pro-bending is still centered around, as Bo Lin so eloquently put it, "watching benders beating each other up." And hell yeah heels have fans. They're often more popular than the face (good guy). I'm not saying the pro-bending league was deliberately set up that way, just that it might have had that effect on the crowd when a team of dirty cheaters made it to the finals. They're the team you love to hate.
deanb
So folks have remade the "Bolin gets his soul crushed" scene. (not a story spoiler...well not for Korra at least)

Zuko: *pauses* That's rough, buddy. Edited May 15, 2012 by TheMightyEthan
CorgiShinobi
LMAO X 100! (Seriously, couldn't stop laughing for a good five minutes.) Though, if you think about it... it would be kinda creepy to have your ex-girlfriend be ever present in the night sky.

TheMightyEthan
Suki: Wouldn't it be so romantic to make love under the moon and the stars? Sokka: Uh, not really, no.
Mister Jack
I haven't read it myself, but I heard there was some kind of rule 34 fanfiction involving Sokka and the moon. Try and wrap your head around that.
Waldorf and Statler
I can't. The moon is way too big for me to wrap my head around that.
Little Pirate
Hehehe, oh the shipping... I love the jokes the creators did on it in the first series.

Try and wrap your head around that. Before Legend of Korra debuted, there was a surge in Korra x Yue fanfic. I think the basis of it was that because she was from the Water Tribe, she had a "special" connection with the Moon.
Mercurial
So I haven't watched Korra at yet and I have a question. Is Korra as annoying as Aang? Seriously I hate Aang throughout the series and only watched for Sokka lulz, the occasional wtf animal, and cabbage man.
deanb
Well it largely depends on what element you find annoying about Aang.
Mercurial
Mostly his intense naivety and I have to be the good guy constantly attitude.
