I would have Episode 4, but you know about my PS3 situation.

When I do get my new PS3, I'm going to play the last segment of Episode 2 again, make a decision "correction" for Episode 3, and then get on to Episode 4.

There's also going to be that boxset once the whole thing is complete, so if anyone hasn't gotten around to this series, I would (personally) wait for that.

Oh, well, I wanted to tell people that I was going to jail as a convicted murderer, but I was focused on the "mystery" that after solving it the game progressed into the next chapter, a.k.a. the bandits. It doesn't really change a whole lot because Kenny didn't seem to mind near the end when I aksed him, but I wanted to let others know anyway.

Everything else I was fine with, especially when it came to Lily. Instantly I knew her fate.

I frickin' love this series. It's got some of the best writing in a game I've ever seen. So good.

My only issue with it would be that, seemingly, different decisions barely make a difference to how things pan out. This ruined a lot of the suspense for me. I looked online and found a lot of people complaining that even if you make a very different big decision second time round, exactly the same stuff happens.

However, I'm hoping that this means, for the last episode, every decision you've ever made is going to come back to haunt or help you. I imagine the plot stays the same despite choices because in the first 4 episodes they really can't design later episodes to be that different for everybody. All the players have to go to the same place, have to encounter the same situations; because otherwise Tell Tale would be really designing several episodes per episode.

The only chapter exempt from this is the final chapter. This is when the big decisions can actually take you to different places, even if it's only for the last few hours of the series. Everything could go horribly, horribly wrong, and the plot wouldn't need to follow the same template. I'm so looking forward to it. Two months!

P.S. Haven't played epi 4 yet. But 3 was amazing.

You know, I dig the show and all, but I feel like the game might actually have better writing. It certainly came as a surprise to me, like "Is this really the superior adaptation? This little horror adventure game?"

And dude, play episode 4. I just finished it last night and some MAJOR shit goes down.

Same man, I like the show, prefer the comic, but think the game is definitely the best. In every way.

Best writing, best exploration of the themes, best style (after the first volume of the comic the art/design was just ruined for me. Tony Moore was the only way to go, and they didn't go that way. If they kept Moore I'd have put the comic stylistically above the game.) It's just so good.

I have two savage essays and four gigs coming up, but after that Epi 4 is ON.

What really impresses me is how even though the game basically boils down to one big escort mission for Clem, I don't mind it. I actually WANT to protect this kid. I want to take care of her and make sure she's provided for. And again, it comes down to the writing. She's a real sweet kid. She doesn't constantly run off on her own (CARL) and she actually helps out from time to time, usually in significant ways. She's not a burden at all (BEN). Plus, she KNOWS she's a kid. Sure, she wants to help, but she isn't constantly trying to prove she's a grown up (CARL AGAIN).

Long story short, you fuck with Clem and I will be on you like Jason Voorhees on a campground.

Father-Daughter relationships are my favorite. Big Daddy and Little Sister, Simon and Marceline, and this game's Lee and Clementine.

You know, at least for me I don't think I can say it's just a "father daughter" thing I really like. I'm not saying father daughter relationships in fiction never tug at my heartstrings, but this is different. In these cases, the man is NOT her father, not biologically anyway. Nobody asked him to be a godfather. He never even knew this kid until the moment he found her in the middle of nowhere and although he's not really the parenting type, he takes her with him anyway because the whole world has gone to hell and nobody else is going to help her. He knows that without him, she will die, and that supersedes any apprehension he may feel about raising a child.

Likewise, this young girl has probably been on her own for a while, and is most likely only still alive through dumb luck. She has almost certainly not seen any adults in days, possibly weeks. She may not have even seen another human being. If she has, it was probably not someone she could trust. To be a little kid and suddenly find yourself in a world without parents, teachers, or even police officers is terrifying beyond comprehension. Even if she has been able to miraculously fend for herself for a long term period, chances are she would give anything just to have a grown up in her life to reassure her that things would eventually turn out okay.

I guess what I really like is that even though the world has ended, the world hasn't really ended. There are still things worth living for, even if it's just the bond between two complete strangers who reached out to each other because there was no one else left.

One of the latest episodes of Adventure Time. If you're watching it at all I highly recommend you catch up as that episode the season finale and the next season opener which comes out in 2 more weeks are all about the past. Plus the episode is basically the new Jurassic Bark.

I started playing this yesterday and beat episode 1. For somebody who loves the father-child relationship [bioshock included] it took me a while to play this but I'm glad I did. Some decisions were hard but hot damn so worth it. Also it's nice to see how many people agreed with you at the end. Seemed to be pretty half n half though.

Beat episode 2. Took me a while to play it but it's well worth it.

One thing that I personally found disturbing, besides the big twist

Only 1/3 people, including myself, helped Kenny kill Larry. I know it was a shit thing to do but I know for a fact that like Glenn Lily is leaving eventually so having her on my side is not necessary, and Kenny isn't from the comics so that probably means he stays. As to the action itself I need at least two major adult allies. Carley already is on my side, and if I had lost Kenny I'd be fucked. Shame Clementine had to see it but I at least made the rest of the decisions in the game that pleased her so even if she judges me about that I won't be any worst than anybody else in there
