Mister Jack
I suspected that she might be mildly autistic or something but I wasn't sure of it until episode 4.
CorgiShinobi
I'm going to come right out and say I couldn't get through that Tumblr blog. It's just... ugh... To the point, I wasn't sure what to make of Sarah. I never hated her, but there's no denying she made it tough for Clem. That was the whole point of Sarah's character to be honest; how far will you go to protect someone? Jane brought up the point that you can be brought down with groups, which I think was fully shown in the same episode. So, back to Sarah, I wasn't sure if she had a mental disability or if she was a product of disillusion in this new world. I mean, we're talking about making a girl think things are the way they've always were, but then Walkers show up and your whole world is shattered immensely. Clem and everyone else experienced the fall of the world first hand with no filter. Carlos never fully explained if she really had a problem or if he was just keeping an overprotective facade to keep Sarah calm. If anything it might be both, but I don't think we'd ever be able to pinpoint what was Sarah's disability and if it was really what made it difficult to keep Sarah, well... alive
CorgiShinobi
I just finished the final episode of Season 2... Ugh, Telltale really can smash your emotions on the floor and laugh. It was rough in comparison to Episode 5 of Season 1. With that episode, your main objective was getting Clem and getting out and everyone agreed with the plan. In this episode... Damn that Arvo kid. I would stop Kenny from pounding his face in, but he would always give you dirty looks and I knew I couldn't trust him. Thing is, having him around is what began breaking up the group. The way Kenny would react to him, causing others to be afraid of him. Freaking Mike was cool for being sympathetic, but trying to sneak out with all the supplies (at first) and taking the truck. And just when I actually began to trust Bonnie, she becomes a bitch at the end. It was your fault Bonnie that Luke fell in! I took out all the Walkers close to Luke so he could climb out, but you ran up to him and broke the ice. I did everything in my power to save him, so you go ahead and smoke away being a bitch that Luke didn't want to screw anymore. Before I go further, I think because I played the game so early, the game wouldn't show me my choices and the percentage. I guess I'll let the numbers add up, but I would like to see what the major choices were for this episodes. Anyway, on to the big final choice... Damn it Jane! I knew I would have to take Kenny out, and I did and he actually understood how screwed up he had become. I cried like a little girl who lost her doll... AND YOU FUCKING DID IT ON PURPOSE?! The whole car ride was unbearably dramatic for me, getting a little too real for my personal taste. Somehow Walkers are still roaming around even though it's a damn blizzard. I find Kenny, yay! Hey, Jane is on her way... without AJ?! Big fight, I want them both to stop, but it became apparent one of them would be facing their death and it was my choice. Yet the whole thing was a ploy for me to end Kenny right away?! If I wasn't going to be alone, I would have left Jane for forcing me to kill Kenny out of her having to "prove a point." I said I forgive her, but if she screws up again, I'm not going to save her ass. I get it, Kenny is the other half of "how far will you go to save someone" in that he's a danger to others rather than himself. It was then I realized he'd have to be put down, but setting it up pisses me off. I'm not too sure what to say about the very ending. I actually walked away for a moment during the credits so I'm not sure if there was a post-credits scene. Just, it's a little odd and doesn't feel like the ending to Season 1. It's almost like we should have another episode rather than season after this one. Maybe there will be DLC expanding on you-know-who. EDIT: Oh, and you damn well know my favorite part of the episode was... When we had a dream flashback to the RV with Lee. It was the time between when you either kickout Lily or let her stay after her shooting Carley. I'm glad the game properly remembered I kicked her out cause I would have been pissed if she were there with me. EDIT AGAIN: I just found out this episode has multiple endings and I'm damn well going to play the last part out. The ending I got is just so anticlimactic and off-putting. TheMightyEthan
And just when I actually began to trust Bonnie, she becomes a bitch at the end. It was your fault Bonnie that Luke fell in! I did everything in my power to save him, so you go ahead and smoke away being a bitch that Luke didn't want to screw anymore. I fucking know, right? You don't get to be pissed at me because you got your ex killed. Then I fucking fall in the water trying to break him out, creating a hole that you climb out of, and yet it's still my fault? Go fuck yourself, I hope you die in the woods you backstabbing bitch. Damn it Jane! I knew I would have to take Kenny out, and I did and he actually understood how screwed up he had become. I cried like a little girl who lost her doll... AND YOU FUCKING DID IT ON PURPOSE?! I knew from the moment she said to trust her that she had done it on purpose, and just hidden AJ somewhere, but I still ended up shooting Kenny and crying like a little girl about it. Re: the end, I got the same one you did. I also thought it was kind of anticlimactic, though not that bad. I get what they were going for, giving you the chance to show how you're going to apply the lessons you've learned.
CorgiShinobi
In comparison to the others, it feels like the worst. I let the family in and it ends with you noticing the "dad" (if they're really a family) has a gun with him, though that isn't uncommon. The boy comes up to you, says you have a nice hat and you say, "Yeah, thanks." THE END The others all feel better to me, whether you're going badass on your own (covered in Walker guts), or if you actually find Wellington. At Wellington, you have the choice of leaving Kenny (Wellington is over capacity) or going with Kenny where Wellington gives you some supplies. TheMightyEthan
Yeah, I like my ending best out of those options.
CorgiShinobi
Eh, I replayed it. Did the same thing for Season 1, so nothing out of the ordinary. Honestly, it feels better to me. You actually get the option to shoot Kenny after he kills Jane, which is a bit hardcore to result in the Alone ending. I kept warning Kenny about how dangerous he was and Kenny realized it. You can then leave Kenny just like how you can be disgusted with Jane and leave her for the Alone ending. You'll get the same "Nine Days Later" text where you come to a gate of Wellington. Giant walls and looks like it could be like Howe's (Carter's place) where it's built around a giant supermarket and it's parking lot. Edith is a guard and she's actually friendly after giving you a warning shot. After explaining the over capacity issue, Kenny begs Edith to talk to whoever to at least let Clem and AJ in. As Clem you can ask why Kenny would do this. He explains that Clem and AJ would be safe in Wellington where he can't guarantee their safety after what he's been through and done. You can accept his decision, or leave together. I did the cool ending, a.k.a. Edited August 27, 2014 by Atomsk88
TheMightyEthan
Nah man, Kenny's a liability, as much as I love him.
Mister Jack
Well I recently finished episode 5. Ugh. I feel depressed. First things first. Fuck you, Bonnie. I should have let you die like I originally planned you ungrateful piece of shit.As for the ending, I ultimately chose to shoot Kenny, but it was really hard for me make that decision. Sure, Kenny was frequently a liability and a jerkoff, but he was MY jerkoff. He was the one who had been there since almost the beginning, the last connection Clementine had to her days with Lee's group. Killing him meant, as the episode title itself says, no going back. I couldn't just let him murder Jane, but it was like putting down Old Yeller. As for Jane, my worst suspicion about her turned out to be true. I really didn't want to believe she'd do something like that, but there was the proof in the car. While the smart, survivalist thing to do might have been to stay with her, I feel like the Clem I was playing wouldn't care about what was practical in that moment. What Jane did, and what she forced me to do, was unforgivable. I had to ask myself if I thought my Clem would EVER pull a stunt like that, and I decided that no, she wouldn't. She's better than Jane, so I kicked her ass to the curb and went it alone. The last scene with her and Alvin in the field was a nice little ray of hope after all that horrible shit. I think Clem's gonna be alright.

As soon as I saw Bonnie, Mike and the Russian getting ready to steal the car, I was just begging the game for a chance to shoot them in their stupid traitorous faces. *Edit* - If they'd wanted to just leave then fine, whatever, go for it, but trying to steal our shit is unforgivable, and for that their lives are forfeit. Hot Heart
Okay, so I sat down and finished S2 the other day... Goddamnit. I finally get to shoot Kenny and I feel bad about it! The ending I got with Jane at the store, letting the family in. That was okay, but I almost wish I didn't know about the alternatives now. Though I think each one is satisfying yet... unsatisfying. Each has its own significance and resonance. Apparently, Luke was actually meant to survive the fall in the lake and that final showdown would have been between him and Kenny. I think that decision would have been even easier, plus I don't see Luke deliberately setting up the loss of the baby as much as thinking he had. People are speculating (and upset) that it changed because it leaked, but reading about it after the fact is the first I heard. Telltale are free to do whatever, and I think putting Kenny against Jane makes it more ambiguous anyway. p.s. Bonnie, you bitch! Overall, I really liked it. I don't think I could say S1 was any better or worse, but Telltale did a great job with the new dynamic and I think it packed in a great deal for five episodes.
Mr. GOH!
I shot Jane and went to Wellington with Kenny. They would let Clementine and AJ in, but not Kenny. I chose to stay with Kenny. Satisfying, but melancholy ending. I liked Season 2 a lot, but Season 1 was better.
TheMightyEthan
Telltale says there's an exciting announcement coming for The Walking Dead. I bet it's that Season 3 is cancelled.
