Also he's not evil. He just uses his law degrees in the ways they shouldn't be used morally-wise: Outright helping criminals. Which there is nothing illegal about. In fact my friend bought me a "better call Saul" t-shirt for my birthday a week or so ago, will get a pic of that eventually... Yeah Mister Jack, you're pretty right about her, she's rather judgemental for someone who wanted to be involved but I just don't think she knew just what Walter was doing. Walter says something similar, I believe, about her probably believing that he is just working in a nice little lab with "his white coat and pocket protector" and what not... She was happy to be involved when she was oblivious the other things he was doing. She wasn't aware of the murders or anything, she only found out about Gale's death after they'd started their money laundering operation and he still didn't directly say "yep, that was me." but when Walter kills Gus Fring and Hector in the explosion, he pretty much gloats about it, and Skyler gets pretty terrified of him, which I suppose is understandable enough... As he gets further and further in his "career", he becomes more and more arrogant and he has no issues with now telling Skyler what it is he's up to ("Out burying bodies?" "Robbing a train.") and so forth. tl;dr: I think she thought that except for the actual cooking of meth, the operation was fairly innocent up until Gus Fring's death. I predict from the snippets I've seen that Walt goes with what's her face and Todd and they team up to take care of the people in jail. It seems like Jesse comes to Walt for help dealing with the dead Mike and the jail situation, and Walt says they're no longer a team, possibly being the final rift between these two and the (hopeful) animosity that might lead to their final showdown also a quick thought: Reveal hidden contents has anyone else noticed that Jesse is the one that has come up with the plans and the solutions that used to be Walt's territory? Walt's only just turned 51, after all, and he was 52 there. In regards to your second spoiller: Reveal hidden contents Yep, Jesse has been brilliant lately. This hasn't been a sudden change, mind you. He knows his way around a meth lab and although Walter saying that Jesse is one of the "two best meth cooks" was probably a clever manipulation, I don't think he was being completely dishonest there. Walter has said before that Jesse's product is just about on par with his, and it would make sense to be. Walter and Jesse have been working together for a while now. I do think Walter still underestimates just how intelligent Jesse is. The plan for the train heist was pure genius. Really, both she and Marie are the biggest hyprocrites on this entire show--although Marie takes the cake in being unbareably annoying. I did give points to Skylar when she screamed at her to shut up. But like Jack said, she's so indescive on her morals. And really---if it's the safety of her kids that she's concerned about, I would have sent them to Walt's mom a few states away, not down the effing street. She builds herself up to be smart but in the end she's just--stupid. Jesse is by far the character I am rooting for the most. He's evolved so much from the start of this series. And really, any shred of liking I had left for Walt in these last few episodes was completely gone when he killed Mike. And he killed Mike for such a STUPID reason. Mike could have killed Walt several times, but Walt just kills him because he lost his temper. My theory is Jesse is probably going to be the one to flip the tables around--especially if he finds out that it was Walt who killed Mike. I can't see Skylar being the one to make the major turn of events, unless she just snaps and turns Walt in. I guess we'll see where this is going in the next episode.
