TheMightyEthan
Well it is a game-engine trailer. I'd guess they just didn't expect people to notice because of the speed of the shot and the obscuring objects (never underestimate the internet). Faiblesse Des Sens
The animations are way better. Awesome.

TCP
Kotaku just posted a new trailer. And ohhhh-shit!! It's awesome. I dig Connor's voice, it would have been really, really, easy for Ubisoft to cast some stereotypical native voice, but instead they chose someone with a believeable who still sounds metis. Waldorf and Statler
I want to take a bet that Nolan North is every character in this game.
TCP
Um, no. "It comes with a lot of risk as well; we’ve hired a Native American consultant to make sure we’re handling things appropriately, and the actor who voices Connor is Native American as well." http://www.cinemablend.com/games/Assassin-Creed-3-Developed-With-Native-American-Consultant-40979.html
Waldorf and Statler
Nolan North is in every game. That's probably just Nolan North pretending to be someone else.
TheMightyEthan
Nolan North is Desmond. Always has been.
TCP
I always preferred to think of it as Nolan North as Nathan Drake AS Desmond Miles.
toxicitizen
Well, that new gameplay trailer was pretty awesome. For some reason, the part where he actually went through a building instead of climbing it kinda blew my mind a little lol It's a pretty minor addition but while playing the game I never really went "man, sure would be cool if that window were open and I could go through that room", so it kinda surprised me on the spot. TCP
Agreed, I got excited too. It seems so obvious though, I can't believe they didn't do that before.
deanb
Trailer: "I will fight the enemy. Regardless of their allegiance" Deans Brain: "Aha, finally...hey wait a fucking minute, 'Bear' isn't an allegiance". I guess the running through buildings is to make up for the small size of the dwellings?

Most of my ancestory is Irish, but I can use the little bit of aboriginal blood that I have, to summon large squirrels and beavers.
deanb
So was bored n have spare time on my hands so knocked up a possible reason of "why the trailers are kinda implying you take on both sides in the war.....but are yet to actually show anything except the killing of red coats." Enervation
That's odd. I totally though Fox News would brand Assassin's Creed III as the true American video game, since patriotism and killing British soldiers and stuff. I'm not too particularly sure if I'm going to pick it up. I guess I might do it for PS3, but I've lost my drive to play stuff recently. TheMightyEthan
That's a photoshop. Dean straight up said that he made it. And yeah, like I said when the first trailers came out, "Fight against the founders" doesn't play well here.

Faiblesse Des Sens
They've made it pretty clear from the start you'll kill people on both sides of the conflict.
deanb
They've made it pretty clear from the start you'll kill people on both sides of the conflict. We know. The point being they've yet to actually show it, despite several trailers now. This is the closest any of the promotional materials have gotten to killing...the other English side. However the image exists in a continental-free form too: I'm surprised Jason Isaacs isn't doing some VA. (actually that'd be pretty fucking kick-ass. Turns out he does a fair bit of game VA too)
Faiblesse Des Sens
^Perhaps the marketing team is still figuring out what to do despite what the intents of the devs?
CorgiShinobi
Chances are that "red coats" are the primary antagonists whereas the colonials you have to take out are plot driven targets. Not to mention it makes for better promotional material to have Connor, an expert survivalist in the wilderness, track down a British soldier scrambling through snowy woods. Oh, and eaten by bears.
