I like to take pictures of stuffs in my spare time.

Anyone else?

Post some of your favorite pictures you've taken, and upload some to your dropbox (or wherever) gallery, link that, if you like.

I've got a thing for color, shadow and strange composition.

Poached a bunch of the photos I liked better from my Facebook albums.

Yes ma'am. Almost put that in the photo-wise things I like, but didn't for some reason.

Is that your DA page?

I can't tell if this is sad or lulz, considering my post.

Or both.

that is my DA yes

That's awesome. I'm envious. I've badly wanted a polaroid for a long time now, but those and their film are stupidly expensive now that they're supposedly not in production anymore, or whatever. Urban Outfitters is supposed to have some knock-offs, but they're also spense and I can't tell if they're completely junk or not.

I actually didnt plan on putting up a picture of a dead squirrel because you have a picture of a squirrel. its just a picture i took a long time ago that I like.

I like it.

It's far less morbid than one I took of a seagull eating another seagull on the beach.

Better picture, too.

[EDIT] Double-post, apologies.

I'd say these are the three best (and poasted) pictures I have light graphed:

(Images are supposed to auto-resize, right? 'Cause they're still super huge when I view mine.)

Edited by Deanb
Spoiler blocks the image resize feature. Though in future smaller images? 2nd edit: Actually you jsut seem to have fucked it up completely. I'll put it back in tags.

They don't resize if you put them in spoiler tags.

I really need to get a good scanner. I shoot on film still for the most part and I don't think I have any of my photos on my computer/online.

an f 2.0 i am quite jealous

i still have the original cam kit because i am too cheap to buy something better.

I bought my Yashica FX-3 for like $10 at a garage sale and it came with an f/2 50mm lens. I ended up getting an f/4 80-200 (I think) and an f2.8 35mm for another $15 I think. It's been my primary camera for years now and gets used much more than even my Nikon N75 that I paid like $275 for. I like my faster Yashica Lenses now.

If I could get a new camera and lens, I'd probably buy a Voigtlander Bessa and a good fast 35mm M Mount lens for it.

Still, it's how you shoot, not what you shoot with. I've taken great photos with $10 cameras and $400 cameras.

I shoot a Nikon D200, my favorite lens has to be my 35mm f2.0.

The blonde looks like a girl I worked with in college. She was bitchy, annoying but pretty. I always wanted to bang her but never got the chance. :-/

Is that a weasel?

I grow orchids as a hobby and I began taking pictures of them whenever they sprouted new growth or bloomed. Many of them only bloom once a year under good conditions. I guess you could say it is the closest that I come to actual photography, although that's probably too generous of a word for it, since I'm a total amateur (I've never taken a class).

My mom's got a ton of orchids back home. Every Sunday is Orchid watering day there. I'm garbage with plants though. I bought this awesome bonzai and...

Well, I still feel bad about that one.

Ooff, I am not good with heights. That's awesome though.
