Eleven
Been watching The Americans. Good show. Also, that ad with "God Bless America" spelling out "Rise Comrades" is cool.
Hot Heart
Agents of SHIELD to be shown on Channel 4 in the UK (a freeview/terrestrial channel). Though, as has been said, there's a good chance a subscription channel like Sky will buy it up if it gets to a third season.

Dunno, from what i've seen of the promo material, it doesn't look like the sort of show Sky would bid for. Of course, what do i know. Breaking Bad isn't even on UK TV. deanb
You might have seen bits about this talk already. (this was probably better here, and it's literally TV Show discussion)
Eleven
Anyone watching Under the Dome? Small town, big conspiracy. Like Jericho. I like it! Hopefully this show doesn't get cancelled. I heard it got renewed for Season 2. Also on queue is Revolution. Another big conspiracy type show. Watched only half the pilot, I guess it's ok. Honestly, I thought this show was going to be cancelled back when it was still new, but hey, it got a full season 1, and a 20 episode season 2. staySICK
cotdam Dexter is failing at this last season Slow progression, sloppy writing.
Hot Heart
Dexter is supposed to be darkly comic, but I was laughing at all the wrong places during that last episode. At least it will be over next week. And from the spoilers I've read, which actually could turn out to be true, it sounds hilariously bad. deanb
So IT Crowd? Good wrap up, very self-referential which slightly was a bit too much at times, but still good overall. Plenty of laugh out loud sections. One minor niggle would be the "womens slacks" for all of us sounded like "womens snacks". Kinda figured it was leading up to a joke about like cereal bars or something.
TheFlyingGerbil
I only thought it was OK. It seemed to be trying too hard to be IT crowdy, if that even makes sense. Not that I didn't enjoy it, I think we could have done without it. More importantly though, does anyone watch The Great British Bake Off? I've loved Mel and Sue since Light Lunch, and I love this programme now. It's surprising how tense it gets, and is the perfect vehicle for Mel and Sue's amazing(ly terrible) puns. deanb
I watch it now and then when it's on the TV. Out of all the talent type shows we've got these days it's certainly the better one. It's just kind of...pleasant. It's a show where at the end of the day, even if you lose, you still get you cake and eat it. (though it's an undercooked cake, that;s why you lost). deanb
http://o.canada.com/entertainment/television/reboot-getting-relaunched-by-rainmaker-entertainment/ Reboot reboot! Edit:
TCP
Man, can't believe Reboot launched 20 years ago, I remember that weekend when it first debuted. Glad that it's still being produced in BC. Started watching Broadchurch. Man, pretty much everything I see in British television collects from the same pool of actors. Lots of Doctor Who alumni, which is kind of cool. We've watched the first three episodes, we're going try to finish it this weekend, unless I pick up Wind Waker HD... Hot Heart
Finished season one of Person of Interest. Really enjoyed it. The concept is really good, there's plenty of backstory, intrigue and conspiracy woven in and the interplay between the characters works really well. It's quite fun going into an episode, not knowing how things will shake out exactly, and they do a nice job of speedy exposition. Though, it can be pretty obvious when you're less than halfway through and the 'target' seems like a victim instead of a villain. That said, though, it tackles all sorts of interesting scenarios/people from an undercover cop to a spy to a subtle riff on Rear Window to four numbers at once. It did feel like they were burning through (back) story rather quickly, but it also meant none of the episodes really felt like filler, and only one or two fell a bit flat. Plus, I'm sure there's way more stuff to come, particularly since, early on, the show seems to imply that the machine has been 'missing' some crimes rather than them being plotholes (one later episode hinged around a baby, which made for a dramatic reveal, sure, but missed a massively pre-meditated murder beforehand). I guess we'll find out how they explain that...
TheFlyingGerbil
I wish I'd given that show more of a chance. I lost interest after a few episodes and gave up but I've heard several people say they liked it. I've just seen an advert for the last series of Misfits. I thought the last series was the last series? I thought that one was less good than the rest so I hope they manage to pick it up and leave on a high. Hot Heart
I can't say you'll fall in love with the show if you weren't sold after a few episodes, but there are some interesting developments and reveals. It avoids just being 'Crime Prevention: New York' every week. I saw that ad for Misfits and thought the same. I'm still yet to watch the rest of the earlier series though, since I'd seen most of an episode I thought was rubbish and then one that was delightfully weird. staySICK
first season of Misfits is still the best, I miss Nathan.

staySICK
Man I'm really enjoying the new TMNT series. A great blend of new, the old cartoon, and the comics. Hot Heart
As a big ninja turtles nerd who thought it looked too kiddy (relatively speaking, obviously), I was surprised by how good it was; particularly the action and the humour. I think the guy who voices Mikey does a great job (as do the other guys really) and I eventually stopped hearing Samwise Gamgee everytime Raphael opened his mouth. Oh, and I like Nolan North as 'the one who is known as the Krang' I don't think it'll ever beat the overall story of the 2003 series, but I mean, this is flippin' cool. There were some fairly good episodes in there, though I think there are far too many 'mutant of the week' ones already and the finale was pretty sucky. Bit disappointed with the second season so far, especially since there are bound to be more of those types of episodes. I see they're going to introduce Casey Jones...any bets on how long before he becomes a mutant?
staySICK
They introduced him this past Saturday. Along with the full creation of Mutagen Man. Slash is supposed to appear this season too. Edited November 12, 2013 by staySICK

Mister Jack
I've been watching Rick and Morty recently. It's the first really good, really funny show Adult Swim has created in a while, and they put episodes up on youtube. Check it out sometime if you haven't watched it yet. In fact, here's the current episode they have online: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfFVAeiAIII
