Mr. GOH!
If you're not watching BoJack, you should be watching BoJack.

Mister Jack
I can't stand the art style. It is physically painful for me to look at. You said the same thing about Rick and Morty. You are missing out!
Mr. GOH!
Really? Huh. I like the art style. The quality of the art and animation gets many shout-outs in reviews, too, so I'm not alone in my opinion. Anyway, you're missing out. deanb
Heh I remember that. Wasn't on for long, but yeah pretty sweet. And for the time (and I guess cos not playing Total War) the army sim stuff looked quite good.

TheFlyingGerbil
So are any of you going to apply to be on it? I think there should be a pxod team
Mister Jack
So Justin Roiland read an actual court transcript in the voices of Rick and Morty. Edit: The first version I posted had part of it cut out at the end. Here's the whole thing. Edited July 26, 2016 by Mister Jack
Mr. GOH!
I started watching Rick and Morty last night. Ended up marathoning the first season. It's magnificent. Edited July 26, 2016 by Mr. GOH!
TheMightyEthan
I read that transcript when it was first a thing. That judge waited WAY too long before ordering him out of the courtroom.
Mr. GOH!
It's amazing how many hotheaded judges with poor judgment are out there. I used to be amazed, but then I became a litigator.
Mister Jack
I read that transcript when it was first a thing. That judge waited WAY too long before ordering him out of the courtroom. Yeah, probably, but I'm kind of glad he did because this is hands down the funniest court transcript I have ever read in my life.
Mr. GOH!
Holy shit is Stranger Things a fun love letter to 70's and 80's Spielberg, Cameron, Carpenter, and King. Maybe even Lynch and Cronenburg and Hughes, too. Just watched the first two episodes and I am really enjoying it, although I cannot be sure how much of that is due to the nostalgia overload. It's not nostalgia for my youth, but for the movies and books in pop culture from my youth, if that makes sense. It's really weird but also really good for what it is.
Mister Jack
I'm only two episodes in myself but I really like it so far. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
deanb
Man everyone is banging on about this, might have to give it a watch. Though I had started on Bojack last night and I think atm I'm 5 episodes in. Sorta had it as vaguely backgroundy TV. Just funny having Gob as a horse mainly edit: Oh yeah I cancelled a bunch of subscription services start of this month. I guess I'll watch something else
Hot Heart
I've been watching Preacher and it's been really good so far. It has that confidence to just get on with things and trust that you can be patient or intrigued enough to wait for a full explanation/clarification further down the line. I've never read the comics so it's all been nice surprises for me. My favourite bit so far has been Jesse, Fiore and Deblanc trying to restrain rather than kill the seraphim when Cassidy shows up... deanb
I'm a few weeks behind on that from being away, figured at this point I'll save up n binge it on completion. But yeah that particular opening sequence was pretty damn great. It started to lose me a bit around episode 3 n 4, but certainly picked up with Quincannon "serving god" and eugene going places.... Mister Jack
Bojack is one of those shows that takes about five or six episodes (assuming you started from season one) to really start picking up. It sounds like a lot but the payoff after that is SO worth it and the show never lost momentum after that, at least for me.
Mal
Binged Stranger Things. It's like Sandlot the Goonies meets the Silent Hill/Doom (2016). It's awesome. I need to sit on it to process it all before I rant. Edited August 4, 2016 by MaliciousH
danielpholt
So is anyone into Fargo? It might be the best show on TV that no one bothers to watch.
Mr. GOH!
Fargo is the shit. Can't wait for season 3.
TheFlyingGerbil
I think Fargo is dragged out a bit too long each season but I still enjoyed it enough to try a third season if it appears.
deanb
Finished Bojack. Pretty damn good, and very brutal in the third series. I'd think it'd actually be fine if it was to end there. Everyone else has done relatively well for themselves and bojack is rightfully fucked (should be more fucked over than he is though given events he causes..) Onwards to wrap up Preacher and give Stranger Things a shot.
