TheFlyingGerbil
Has anyone tried google opinion rewards? I just signed up. Hopefully it will encourage me to buy cheap apps I'm dithering about if they're effectively free, but is it going to take me a year to earn enough for one 69p app? Faiblesse Des Sens
I've already earned a dollar after like a month and the surveys are easy as fuck.
TheMightyEthan
Did all the surveys together take less than 8 minutes? Cause if not you're making less than minimum wage taking them.
deanb
I have used it and http://forum.pressxordie.com/topic/2052-games-youve-bought-2014/page-12#entry126975 And yeah super simple stuff. I did a bunch of survey stuff when unemployed and it takes yonks to earn much to trade for like amazon credit n what not, lot of long surveys with weird questions and watching videos and describing adverts and stuff. This though it's like 7 or so yes/no questions with about 50-60p at the end which is enough to grab and app there n then or save up a bit and get a slightly bigger app. Might take a while to buy a Final Fantasy title though. Mister Jack
XCOM: Enemy Unknown is coming to android soon. Just an FYI. No actual release date yet that I know of.
madbassman39
Apparently its out today on Google Play, and "Coming Soon" on Amazon App Store. I love my kindle, but as soon as the Amazon video library is available on Android, I'm swapping over to a Nexus 7.
Mister Jack
I have a nexus 7. It's pretty sweet.
TheMightyEthan
It's not compatible with the Nexus 10. Also not compatible with any Nexus 7 before the 2013 version.
Mister Jack
Pretty sure I have the 2013 version so I'm set.
TheMightyEthan
It /is/ compatible with my S4, which just seems weird.
Faiblesse Des Sens
It /is/ compatible with my S4, which just seems weird. N7 (original) is Tegra 3 and N10 is Exynos. Not the most commonly supported stuff.
TheMightyEthan
Even so it seems like this game would be particularly suited to tablets, so they'd make an effort to support the Nexus ones.
Mister Jack
It seems to work pretty well on mine for what it's worth, although I did have to kill some background tasks to get a smooth framerate.
Faiblesse Des Sens
Even so it seems like this game would be particularly suited to tablets, so they'd make an effort to support the Nexus ones. The Tegra 3 might be too much of a hassle to specifically support. Ditto goes for anything Exynos and the N10 wasn't as popular as the N7 to begin with. danielpholt
What RSS readers are you all using? I've been using Feedly for the last year or so (since Google Reader was taken from us), and for the most part it's been solid. However, recently it appears to have fallen off a cliff and i've decided a change is needed. Problem is I'd like something that's available on both iOS and Android, and that limits my options substantially.
Faiblesse Des Sens
Press w/ Feedly as a service.

Faiblesse Des Sens
I don't understand that sentence at all. Might want to read the previous post for context.
TheFlyingGerbil
I did... -do you mean "press on" with feedly it's the best of a bad bunch, or it's about to get better with an update; -Feedly is providing a service - press them to improve it, e.g. feedback your problems to them. Like I said, I don't get what you're trying to say.

deanb
Yeah I understood what FDS meant, but that's only because I'm already aware of the RSS app that comes with an uber generic name that can mean different things in different contexts. TheFlyingGerbil
I've never heard of Press as an app which is indeed why it didn't make sense. Saying it was an app rather than to read the previous post would have been helpful and no more effort. But I guess one isn't obliged to be helpful if it isn't in one's nature. That is the usual response to a question, so seemed reasonable to expect. Two other people managed it.
