I probably know a few folks worked on it too (since Reflections seem to be the go to Ubisoft studio for farming out bits of work for like all the ubi games). It's certainly on my to-play list but not for a while yet. This month is killer, already having to watch Dishonored 2 go by as well so I can pick up FFXV.

they gonna patch out the dicks too? Just a guy in an alley in the nude, pissing and looking like alan rickman in dogma.

Anywho I'd say the issue is less with having the in-game nudists and more the whole in-game camera to take photo of in-game vaginas to post using the built-in tweeting n using that as a basis for a suspension.

So Watch_Dogs ness

I quite liked it. I guess one of the biggest departures it has from the first game and other Ubi open world games is the lack of radio towers/camps etc before unlocking bits of the map. Which is somewhat welcome, it's not really something that'd make a huge chunk of sense in reality.

The drones as mentioned before are a great addition. Somewhat bummed that you only have the one part of a mission with the spider thing cos it was awesome, and something that'd go great in a mini-game sort of thing, kinda of Saints Row style, but I guess that's a reason it's not in the rest of the game, doesn't really fit otherwise. But yeah it was great, even if it only took me a bit too long to realise I could go up walls so was a bit confused on achieving the goal of taking out the fire sprinklers.

Charachters are all pretty fun and quite well done. Josh could have been done terribly by other studios, but here it was really well done. Wrench was the obvious stand out and shown as been the closest to Marcus amongst the group (and a decent mission focused around him).

There was some clunkiness in it, mainly with some of the additions such as ScoutX which was a decent addition of sorts but I felt it was a bit hit and miss on
- showing up when you were near somewhere
- Actually acknowledging you're at the the place it says
- Most of the people listed to photo are never there (at least weren't for me).

Summoning vehicles was also a bit of a pain, very hit and miss on if the vehicle appeared near you.

As discussed before the clothing options were amazing, really great broad range, and a nice mix of stores, loved the little promo top things spread throughout (kinda weird there wasn't one in the Ubi studio tbh, it makes the most sense of all).

Oh and it's also another one to add in my bag of "Deans theory on Ubi games where the first kinda sucks but nails the concept, and the second onwards are much better". It does suck that most people don't adhere to this theory and skipped on WD2 (Though also part of that is most people skipped on games that month cos where was too damn many).

Gracias Goh.

I agree with your negatives (and your positives). Could've used some improvement in those areas, especially ScoutX. I think the worst of it was the distance between you and summoned vehicles. Very wonky, that. Sometimes it doesn't mind parking on the road. Sometimes it finds a "nearby" parking lot. Didn't really look into it, but it could be the case that it'd only spawn in legitimate parking spaces?

I was fortunate enough to have all the DLC clothing unlocked for free, so I can't really comment on the clothing selection. Not sure which was which. Ended up with mostly psychedelic and, uh, the leather jacket and hat from the hacker film.

I really can't understate how much more entertaining the multiplayer made the game for me. Especially that it wasn't some other game mode, and that it was mostly seamless. Often would disrupt a quest, but I was often doing quests anyway. A diversion that was more than welcome, though I did go hack some folks intentionally.

doing a small side quest, when suddenly invaded. Then
. Linked times both for convenience and avoid potential quest spoilers. For those unaware: invasions involve players that will randomly be prompted that a member of a rival hacking group is nearby, and they can then choose to attempt a hack (or not). Bounties occur when another player is being chase by the police (3 stars or more, I think?), and it'll sometimes give you the option to take part in catching the other player.

Also worth noting again is how they handled Josh. Sympathetic, and not in your face.

As far as open world games like these go, I still prefer GTAV, but Watch_Dogs 2 was different enough that it didn't matter.

From my experience with the game all the DLC kind of stuff (I got one from the Ubi Rewards stuff), shows up under "Misc" along with like clothes from gangs n companies, and the stuff you buy from shops shows up under the shops category in your wardrobe.

I had a few Bounties pop up and enjoyed doing them (and hey, sometimes when I didn't bother I still got the followers when they fucked up and crashed). The hacking stuff I disliked even in the first game. I'm just not particularly fond of that kind of play if I'm in an SP game. I understand technically it's pretty neat just not for me.

This is pretty cool and seems to be part of current Ubi post-launch support trend of late. Getting upgraded MP support (including co-op by June), as well as few extra items, and DLC coming out too.

Legion is getting really mixed reviews. The consensus seems to be that it really suffers from not having an actual protagonist, and the varying scores are due to differences of opinion on whether the gameplay is fun enough to make up for the fact that there's nothing to make you care about the story.

Since story and characters are usually my main driver in playing games, I think I'll give this one a pass.
