TheMightyEthan
I got the first two episodes for free from PS+, but I haven't gotten around to actually playing them yet.
TCP
You should just wait till all five are out and then play them over the course of a weekend. They're well worth it but waiting two more months is going to suck.
Luftwaffles
Episode 3 is has been by far the best, IMO.
P4: Gritty Reboot
Playing a lot of Left 4 Dead 2 now that I finally got my computer and internet up and running after moving to San Diego. Going to install Mass Effect 3 soon. Life is too busy.
FredEffinChopin
Finally slowing down on the FFXI again, at least for now. I've been playing Max Payne 3 and Rock Band Blitz on the side. I'm pleasantly surprised by the latter of those, I hadn't anticipated it could be as involved as it is. They definitely make you work, think, and learn the tracks closely for those gold stars. There are definitely small things that could have been added/improved on (I find the clumsy interface especially baffling since they've had that more-or-less nailed since RB2), but overall I'm pretty satisfied with the product. TCP
Are you playing FFXI on PC?
FredEffinChopin
Sure am. Started on PS2 originally, but am PC this time, as well as the first time I came back to it. Ugh, I am sick...
MasterDex
Tribes has been taking up so much of my gaming time lately - 42 hours in the past 2 weeks alone, 143 total. I've only been playing about a month or so. It's. Just. So. Addictive. It probably helps that I am the greatest. Just to try to explain why it's so addictive, here's a nice montage: Edited September 13, 2012 by MasterDex
Strangelove
Why do I enjoy games I suck at?(Wipeout 2048)
TheFlyingGerbil
wipeout is SO hard. They sucker you in by making the first few tracks easy. then it just goes mental. I just gave up on it in the end as it was not any fun at that point. Have to say I did a bit of a double-take when I read wipeout 3 was a launch window game for Wii U. Wait. What?! Found out it's some mini game collection based on a gameshow though.
MasterDex
Sounds like a lawsuit in the making. I know the game-show it's based on. It can be funny...if you're stoned.
danielpholt
I've thrown myself into The Witcher recently. According to Steam i've put in about 23 hours in the last 2 weeks. Quite surprising considering i really wasn't feeling it at first. However much like its sequel, if you take the time to learn the systems then its a great games. Very enjoyable and the combat is very nice indeed. I've just started chapter 3. I've been informed the final chapter is quite short, so i'm expecting to put about another 30 or so hours into the game before completion. Not too bad for a game i picked up for £4.
TheMightyEthan
Wipeout the gameshow is like a less funny version of Most Extreme Elimination Challenge/Takeshi's Castle. I've been playing Halo: Anniversary since I never beat it on Legendary last year. The skulls for infinite ammo, big explosions, and exploding grunts make it SIGNIFICANTLY easier. *Edit* - Except for a few parts, which they make much much harder. Or at least the big explosions/exploding grunts ones do. Edited September 15, 2012 by TheMightyEthan
Little Pirate
Guild Wars has been consuming a lot of my gaming time, lately. I love MMORPGs and it's nice to not have that monthly fee eating up my wallet. I've mainly been on my elementalist, but I've been developing my thief on the side, which is a pretty fun class. Johnny
Guild Wars 2... Most of the things that get in my way when playing that game is mentalities I've developed playing other MMOs. For example, I feel bad jumping into structured PvP on a not max level character. There is no reason why I should feel bad about that. And I'd enjoy the game more if I could get over it.
Luftwaffles
Dirt Showdown. I'm a huge fan of the Dirt games, and while Showdown is really a terrible, terrible Dirt game, it's not a bad game, and that's something I was sort of surprised about. It's the best handling and best looking arcade racer I've played in a really long time, and as much as the whole Codemasters "narrator is like extra-bro DJ Atomica" schtick gets old, I still absolutely love the soundtrack, menus, and presentation. Lack of cockpit mode is a real killer though, and the game is stupid easy. I've been playing on the highest difficulty setting and leaders are spinning out in front of me and pretty much handing me the race. P4: Gritty Reboot
I have been playing Black Mesa and a little bit of Mass Effect 3. The latter has some laughable cliches in the beginning sequences. The former is utterly brilliant.
Hot Heart
The latter has some laughable cliches in the beginning sequences. Yeah, that opening is possibly one of the worst ever in gaming.

Strangelove
Just beat Leon's campaign in RE6. Im going to skip Chris' and go straight to Jake's. I have to say - Im never going to understand the hate for the game. Its not perfect, but its really damn good.
TheFlyingGerbil
I'm playing Rayman Origins. I've completed the first world and am really enjoying it. So far it's just the right level of challenge for me so I hope it doesn't get too much harder.. I only just got enough Lums to unlock the chest chasing level and I'm no good at speed runs and I don't want the flow to grind to a halt looking for enough lums to get the full test-tube-thing to get the extra electoons so I hope I don't miss out on too much of the locked content. Hot Heart
Judging by that sentence, it sounds like it's already stressing you out far too much.
TheFlyingGerbil
I have to say I don't normally struggle to get enough coins/Lums/stars or whatever in the first world of a game or to place first in the first cup of a racing game etc. so I am slightly worried I will end up frustrated with the game. I wish I were better at games in genereal though. Practice doesn't seem to help me either I guess I just don't have the knack for them. I don't think I can stop my brain getting in the way of my reflexes.
